Don't you need a Kelly option? Would be nive to have Peterson (Boise) and the dude from TCU too.

How do you define realistic? You don't know until you try. Don't eliminate choices before you've pursued them. A lot of coaches like to move down levels to coach after they are done. I honestly don't think Dungy, but he's not in the game anymore. Why not send a feeler? Who knows? MJ came back. Favre came back. Walsh even went back and coached Stanford. I'm just saying not to eliminate options... (unless it's Kelly...hahahaha.)

You're not one of the guys who thinks he has a bad attitude, therefore he must be a bad coach, are you? And by that, I mean, people are soft and think it can be done with somebody who is "nice." That's half the problem with our society. Everybody wants to be warm and cuddly and not do what needs to be done. Saban, Meyer, and Stoops are the hardest people to play for in the country, but it works. And, as a player, you understand that. Also, they really don't have any trouble recruiting do they? Gruden won a Super Bowl, but the NFL is set up to bring you back down with the best teams getting the hardest schedules and worst picks. So after that, why don't you want Gruden?

WHAT iS WRONG WITH KELLY? HOW HAS HE NOT PROVEN HIMSELF???? CINCINNATI IS NUMBER 6 IN THE COUNTRY AND UNDEFEATED! THAT IS SO MUCH MORE BETTER THAN CHARLIE HAS DONE! AND KELLY IS DOING THIS WITH 3 STAR RECRUITS!

 

my high school football team from kentucky sucked so much and there is a kid this year who got a scholarship offer to cincy and hes like a two star recruit. brian kelly is winning with 2 and 3 star recruits. how do u not want to see what he does with 4 and 5 star ones?

 

same with kyle wittingham and chris peterson. these guys are great coaches that know how to win. thats all that matters

Yeah, guys like Kelly and Peterson are getting it done with lesser talent. They don't have the luxury of hand-picking blue chip recruits like Meyer or Stoops. They got their programs undefeated and in the top 6. Sure, people will say that Boise St. doesn't play anyone, but that's because everyone is afraid to schedule them. Heck, they even offered to play a away game against any big name program without having to play a return game at Boise...no one took the offer.
