Manti committed after watching us lose to Syracuse...Floyd immediately after seeing us get destroyed by $C...

 

If we win out, we still have a shot...if we tank the rest of the year...(and I have a feeling we will lose big at PItt and Stanford) they could be gone...

 

If they are gone, our future hopes are down the toilet.

 

Only good thing is Michigan blows so we won't lose any to them...and SC is not invincable anymore...if they were both looking great, we'd for sure lose some guys to them...

 

Fingers crossed that they are coming to ND for ND and not baseing it all on Charlie...if he goes...do they???

I am more concerned with recruits leaving because of the coaching change we will inevitably have. Our talent level is still top notch and on the rise. Recruiting is kind of an on hold topic in a way with the coaching situation. It sucks but we kind of just have to wait and see. I hope Flowers had a good visit this weekend, then maybe we could lock him up now. But once Weis leaves, say goodbye to Chris Martin. Additionally, I think Barr is ours no matter what with his family history. It is a sin if he goes to UCLA. He will be cursed. My hope is we finish 2-1 the rest of the way, get a solid bowl, and have a smooth coaching transition. Coaching transitions with recruiting can be extremely bad or extremely good. No in between. Hopefully it can be what Lane Kiffin and his staff did last year. But lets go Irish. Through the good and bad. Notre Dame gold and blue, through and through.

If in fact CW is to go which I believe he should ND must man up as soon as they know and let these kids know. It is not right to let a kid sign with him thinking CW is the coach and the University knowing he is gone. ND must "Man Up" and let these kids know the truth. Anything short of that in my opinion makes us no better than the rest of the SCUMBAGS who lie and cheat. This is why if a coach is let go in any college sport the student / athlete should be allowed to go without penalty. When you spend as much time with the coaches as college athletes do it is not fair to make them stay if their coach goes.

I am truely sad for Coach Weis and all involved with the program. I wish the situation would just right itself.

yes were BOWL eligible , but with a loss to Pittsburgh and Stanford , it won't be a major bowl, as for the coaching change i think he will get one more year? god help us , as jc and the Tate's will also go ? the coaching sucks to be totally honest. ah heck wait til next year, , its to expensive to pay Charlie for four more years and a new coach at the same time > of course we could get Ty back and he could win with Charlie's players ha ha . Meyer an Kelly on the short list , or we might add tony dungy :-P

i remember martin saying that the only way he doesn't come to ND is if they have a horrible year or if CW isn't here.
