i dont see floyd as a big part of the game. i think he gets a run out but they save him as much as they can.

Ground game is more potent than last year - not to mention, 3 backs got legitimate carries last week, so no rust in spite of Allen's injury.

Our pass D doesn't get exposed by this kind of offense near so much.

I'm not sure why but I'm not nervous on this one. If you win 1st down against the middies, they lose a lot of drive momentum. This D has been winning 1st down quite a bit and Navy does not have the over-the-middle passing game that has been saving teams on 3rd down up to this point. It's odd but our front 7 has suddenly become a unit to count on stopping the run and they are playing better than smaller opponents. Not to mention, OSU's pathetic offense put up what, 30 points on Navy's D? Navy as always will give 110% but it's going to take 500% to beat the Irish this year:
