I se Weis picked up a commitment from Demetrius Jones. When was the last time ND had 2 highly recruited qb's? It does sound like he might take a few visits after the season so hopefully he won't change his mind but at this point it's great to have him on board. I also read some of Lemmings comments over the weekend on espn and he said right now ND has the 3rd best class. I don't care for Lemming and it's a long way until signing day but the early results sure seem positive. Go Irish!

I'm also a little nervous after reading D.Jones' comments on his commitment, but my gut tells me he will stay. He knows that should something happen to end his football career, his ND education will take care of him for life.

Same here Sanatchy. After I read that I asked what is this one half a verb commit? We all know they can bail out before Feb.

Yeah, and I know it's a touchy subject what with the bail out of some recent recruits like CJ Leak, but for what it's worth I think Double D stays on board. I think his mother's choice of ND is a major factor.

Well, at least we can pretty much guarantee Raeshon is solid (Knock on wood).

Ouch 2k9, let's not bring that kid up. Actually, let's do bring that up. I think that was actually a blessing in disguise. The kid obviously had no character, and after burning enough bridges it turned out that he was bust afterall. If another recruit pulls that crap again, I say good riddance.

I'm an idiot. I just realized that I was the one to bring up CJ Leak in the first place, sorry about that 2k9. In case anyone was wondering, CJ Leak was a Highly touted QB prospect during the Davie Debaucle (era). He promised Davie a commitment on the condition that he would stop recruiting any other QB's. Davie agreed, and sure enough on Signing Day, CJ Leak left us high and dry to sign with Wake Forest. Brilliant move on his part, I might add. If I'm not mistaken he is the older brother of Chris Leak, correct?
