Just curious if anyone has heard why Olsen's head was up his ass... Tate bailed him out on the one personal foul before halftime but these are going to end up costing us a game. And I love to see aggression but when the guy's already on the ground and you're hitting him further, what the hell is going on in your brain? Are there some misfirings?

I think he ended the game with 2 personal fouls called against him...which brings me to my original question; what is up with Eric Olsen?

He has been doing it all season.

I think everyone is panicking about our O-line for next year...but I still don't think this o-line is that good. I'm excited to see the new kids next year. Verducci is definitely a good OL coach.

I kept yelling at him to get his head out of his ass......but he wouldn't listen.

He plays (and always has played) with a LOT of emotion. This year, he has been letting it get the better of him. He needs to learn to control it and not let it hurt the team.

We got nabbed with three 15 yarders, Stewart as well although Chris' looked like the turf tripepd him up, that's a lot of beef to slow down when he's movin'.

As a former olineman...I can look at this a little differently. Yes he is acting out and has drawn the attention of the referrees on occassion. However, so have others on our line. More times than not, this is done to 'break the spirit' of your opponent.

Onl;y time I ever tried to break my opponents spirit, I announced that I had the d-lineman's number, absolutely obliterated him on the next play (legally) and I got flagged for what the ref called headhunting despite the fact that all I did was blow this dude off the line and bury him. 15 yard penalty and kicked out of the game... brutal, cost me lineman of the year for the city.

The Stewart call sucked. He just tripped and fell.

Speaking of Stewart I really liked his fire this game. It seemed like he was always the first guy to run over and pick up a RB off the turf. He just seemed to really get after it this game.

They told him Hughes had a cheeseburger in his pants...

I don't have a problem with Olsen at all. The guy plays hard and actually has some drive to knock the piss out of the guy across from him. He plays hard and with emotion. And for the most part, its channeled in a very positive way. Maybe he did something dumb in the WSU game, but we would never know because those blowhard announcers on NBC don't talk about the play or show us any replays. God Haden and Hammond are terrible. Please fire them.

Olson has a nasty freakin temper--that sometimes works against the team--- HE IS FROM NY so that alone should explain the temper problem--lol--- aloha go irish
