Something needs to be done about this.

Β

I remember the catch Grimes made against Stanford that was reviewed and overturned when the ball never touched the ground.

Β

Oklahoma recovering the onside kick against Oregon and it was overturned.

Β

Allen's review against Michigan in which the replay official said he stepped out and the review showed his foot was in.

Β

Indiana getting jobbed today against Iowa.

Β

These are all calls that were reviewed and missed. What good is instant replay? How about the other calls that are not reviewable?

Β

Numerous holding calls against our D that were missed in the BC game.

Β

Holding calls against us in the Michigan game while their personal fouls were not called.

Β

Taylor May's cheapshot against the OSU receiver.

Β

It's now apparent that these officials are corrupt and they're doing everything to decide outcomes in some games.

yep and the only people who can bitch and moan for free is us the fans

instant replay can be good...it's the human factor...and I'm not talking about missing calls on accident..any IDIOT can see the proper call that should be made through instant replay...these are missed because of bias and the officials trying to give a certain team an advantage.

At this point it would be nice if the NCAA would eliminate conference officials and create a uniformed body of officials that answers to the NCAA not the conference for which they work. They can still put the bill for it on the teams, the structure just needs to change.

Its absolutley horrible.....to help fix it

Β

1) the officials all become NCAA officials, no more conference ties.....one set of rules, one governing body.

Β

2) instant replay - 1 minute. If you can't overturn the call in under a minute, there isn't enough evidence to overturn it....

And to fix it there would need to be consequences to the bad calls.

Β

I vote they put them in front of a review board and the media for a round of questions like coaches see.

I agree with Charlie and our Mod Fanatic about no conference referrees. I can't see the NCAA moving on this tho. If anyone recalls After some games Coach Weis mentioned this problem. Straight from the Pros and one set of rules he felt it quite wrong that their were 'different' rules for different conferences.

Β

The big televen allows more holding if you want one aspect.

It seems as if it's worse this year.

Yep... there really aren't any truly great teams this season... so every conference wants their unblemished to continue to be unblemished.

Β

If college football had a playoff system Indiana would have beaten Iowa

Indiana got totally jobbed... it's getting pretty sad, i hope something is done.

Β

The big televen is getting to be like the WWF.

Β

and when they have an out of conference game it's even worse as we have all seen.

I had the same queasy feeling watching Indiana get screwed as I did when we were screwed

against Michigan. Maybe we could start a petition and send it to the NCAA. Do you think they are not even aware of this?? I have been trying to call

attention to this for a long time because it happens to us more then anybody.

We are independent playing teams that pay the refs through the conferences. SOMEBODY here should start a petition to the ncaa. This

is ruining the greatest sport ever invented.

IU gave up 28 unanswered. maybe a call would have helped, but IU was helpless in the end.

Β

Officials make bad calls all around and are biased towards better teams and players in all sports. That is the way it is.

Β

Until you understand that you don't understand, you will never understand!

After watching on tape the USC/Oregon game early this morning, I'm not so sure about that. Simply unbelievably good team. One of the best, most exciting games I've ever watched. If they continue to play like they did last night, no one will beat Oregon - NO ONE.

Β

That game will be on Classic Sports forever it was so good. Don't miss it if it is replayed on TV. I think you will agree with me that there have been fewer games more fun to watch.

You just sit there and your jaw drops because you just can't believe they are that good for the entire game. They do what I've never seen very many teams can do. The offense they run confuses even good defenses, their guys are small but lightening quick, and they keep the defense on their heels and confused the entire game. And Oregon's defense has these guys who know how to tackle and they aren't afraid to take it to bigger, stronger athletes.

Β

A must see!!!!

MLB Officials suck too.

Are you referring to someone missing home plate ?...
