If we can get a Div II school we will be playing a Big Ten schedule.

the broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have two slots open this late in the year. A gunners row with Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanfoord and then Boston College next year possibly an open in October if we don't have a Bye week. But on tho BC this year.

it might be hard to find a quality opponent this late in the game due to scheduling, and the fact we ought to be pretty damn good next year. I would love to see Miami or FSU on the schedule, and weren't there rumors about Oklahoma at some point?

they are scheduled to play Oklahoma in 2011-2012 i believe

werent there rumours about TCU next year?

how about Boise?

We have Oklahoma, BYU and Az State coming up in the next few years.

We don't play Oklahoma until 2012 (not in 2011).... I have that marked on my calendar.

Dayne Crist should be a 5th year senior and the tailbacks will be Theo Riddick and Cierre Wood!

like someone else mentioned, it's tough getting games this late if you're ND. it's not a home & home, so they have to be willing to come in and play us when we need it and not expect a return game.

I've also read that Tulsa & WMU will fill out the 2010 schedule.

Dred,

Im afraid that your going to see alot more of this stuff. I remember reading an article about the difficulty of scheduling for ND. He saif that it is getting harder and harder to get teams on our schedule because 1) Big Televen doesn't want to play out of conference games once their conference schedule starts, recently they have had to fill in previous bye weeks, 2) The Big 12 and SEC doesn't want their teams to play out of conference games within their conference geographic footprints. Which is why we are playing WSU in Texas becuase the Big 12 won't, lets say TCU play ND with the geographic area of the Big12 conference once their conference schedule starts. 3) ND doesn't want home-and-home games with alot of the "lower" teir FBS schools 4) ND's desire to keep UM, MSU, PU and USC on the schedule.......

You'll start hearing alot of games that years ago ND would have never thought of scheduling, but trying to get 12 games and keep their independent status in tact make traditional scheduling very difficult......

Western Michigan looks like a good choice as we won't have to pay them to much to come to south bend, just look at the fact that they will play a top team , its very good for their recruiting., i doubt that it helps our program any . :(

We i doubt that it helps our program any . :(

Better chance of beating them than we do some of the other teams mentioned...

This game is pathetic.

I have no problem with a game against W. Mich, gives us a win and its games like these that allow you to get your younger guys in to get some reps.
