3) Clausen started the game looking scared...but settled in and had a good game....He is the best QB in college football....

4) Our OL has trouble with athletic DL's

5) Our DL is too young/small and there are not enough of them.....

6) Didn't utilize Rudolph enough...

7) Harrison Smith couldn't cover a bed.....

8 )Too many screens, not enough draws.....

9) Not enough wildcat.....

10) You can't get an extra point blocked.....

11) if #2 and #10 go the other way, we kick a field goal to tie the game at the end....

12) Why don't we ever run the slant any more?......

13) Whatever defensive scheme Tenuta and Brown are using....its horrible, try something different

This is probably the best offensive line in the nation. NATION. Barkley for the most part had all day to throw and his receivers got all day to get open. I do not think Barkley is a better QB than Clausen, or even close. 100 other QB's would have a field day behind that O-line and against ND's D.

 

I always try to see why Harrison Smith get's such a bad wrap on this board but it is true...he played like dogsh#$ today. He can't cover, tackle, and seems to be nowhere near the ball. We need to try to put someone else in there...Brown, McCarthy, or Motta should be given a chance.

2) Weis said in the post game that he was out of range. 4th and one. Thats fine. JA should have dove over the pile.

How many screens did you count? I do think when the defense is rushing three and getting sacks, you don't run the spread, you run the ball.

They play in one of the worse conferences in the country and has a BCS bowl invitation printed before the season even starts....he's bound to win more than 1
