Junior RB and Safety Remound Wright has heard from the Irish. I was hoping this would happen. Going into last weekend's game, Remound had 89 carries for 893 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also has a couple of receiving td's and took a punt return to the house. He is only 5'9", but he is a very solid 190lbs. He is very quick and very strong. He benches 325, squats 515, and plays very physical football. He comes from a very strong Christian family and they are friends of mine. I would love to see him head to the dome with former teamates Goodman and Eifert. He works extremely hard, just like Goodie and Tyler. Irish hopeful Tony Springman 6'7" 242LBs, crushed the QB twice and nearly intercepted 2 passes in the matchup between Bishop Dwenger and 5a Rival FW Snider.

Go Snider!

Not sure Wright has enough speed...but I too am friends with one of the coaches and he has been a big supporter of his work ethic...

Springgman is also going to be a stud...but he needs to add about 50 pounds before he is ready to play...

Glad to see FWBD become an Irish pipeline...

Go south side archers!...unfortunately we haven't had any big d-1 players since bernard pollard.

I agree on the top end speed coach. He is not a burner, but still pretty damn fast. His real strength is his short burst quickness. Being low to the ground, he adds some real shiftyness and packs a serious punch on contact.

I hope Springman hooks up with the folks at AWP for strength training. This is where Eifert did his training and put on damn near 30 lbs. Springman is very athletic for his height. I really hope he hits the weights and heads north.

A recruiting article on Wright is featured in the IE premium section. Not a premium member, but those who are might want to check it out and let us know your thoughts relating to what has already been mentioned here.

Darius Walker is his best comparison...not a bad player in CW's scheme.

Darius was ok, but I guess you need role players once you have depth. A good third down role player wouldn't be a bad pick up; but we really need some burners with size.

Jordon James is the cat I want the most. He's not real physical, is shifty and fast. I've liked him since day one.

I will try to get a 40 time from his dad on Friday at the game. I have not seen it posted anywhere. Remound has heard from Geogia as well as a number of other pretty prominent programs.

We have some very good and young speed guys now, and I am just saying this kid gets it done. He is a very good receiver out of the backfield as well.

Walker, IMHO, was more than ok for the Irish.

Nice spelling on Georgia!!! My bad.

Great game last night for both Wright and Springman. Remound had another big night averaging over 10 per cary and a couple of touches. Also had several huge hits on D. Springman was a force on both sides of the line, and highlighted his night with a 40 yard pick 6. He showed very soft hands by leaping in the air at the line, then flat out sprinted 40 for the touch. Nobody even came near him. With speed and hands like that, I would settle for him putting on 25 pounds or so of muscle, and lining up as a 6'7" 265 lb. tight end!!!!!!

Update on last weekends game. Remound ran for 232 yards and 4 more touchdowns. I spoke to his mom and she said he was up for the SC game and was very impressed with his visit. He appears to be a mirror immage of Gio Bernard as far as height and weight. I did ask about his 40 time, and mom said he was clocked as fast as 4.25, but is consistant at 4.6. They feel the quickest was not accurate. He is a tick slower on 40 as bernard comes in at 4.5 I think, but he is abusing all who try to stop him. He is nearing 30 touchdowns for the year!

GO IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol...clocked as fast as a 4.25, but a consistent 4.6

That was exactly what our conversation went like Zig. Did not put too much stock in the 4.25. Has run several in high 4.4 and 4.5. That is why I noted the constant 4.6. He is fast enough for the likes of Georgia to come calling, and has scored more touchdowns that almost any back in the country.

Sorry if you missunderstood the post.
