Guest SirJohn
Very nice. It certainly crushes the recruiting issue. Is their any issue Coach Weis hasn't crushed away?
Guest Irish19
I have to admit, after the comments I heard and have read, I was wrong about this kid. Not only did he make his commitment close to last week (Could have been longer), but it sounds like it was a very thorough, well-thought out commitment. I liked how he said he made a life decision. His quote, "I am a solid commit to Notre Dame" also proved me wrong. Oh. and did anybody notice that he runs a faster 40 than Parris. Jones runs a 4.5 and Parris runs a 4.52. Now, a countdown to McNeil.
Guest ND2k9
Now, do you think weis will keep him at Quarterback? Weis has never really had a scrambler. I love watching running QB's. Why not add another dimension to an offense that could be very good-the option. I love it. I'd rather play jones than frazer
Guest SirJohn
Yeah! I don't know I prefer Frazer in a pocket to a scrambler. Lord did Fran Tarkington cause heart attacks in his day. I think in general it's the play broke down, no ones open and the pocket fell apart. Kinda desperation. Super if it works but it's a dice roll. Guest Irish19
After watching film on DJ, he's no Michael Vick. Not that he's worse, but he can beat you with his feet AND his arm. I actually like him better than Frazer. He forces D's to stay on their toes.
Guest Snatchy_McPants
My only concern from the vids is that he seems to look to run it a little bit too early in the play. Can Weis coach this instinct out of him? Could be a new crossroads for Charlie as a coach. I say let the best man win his spot in camp. If it does turn out to be Frazer, Jones makes one heck of an interesting WR prospect with his height and speed.
Rockne3d
the best scenario we could ask for of D. Jones is that he becomes a great WR. Nothing against D. Jones. That would simply mean that Zak and Sharpley have done very well.
Guest Irish19
Personally, I don't care who starts between the three, because it means whoever does is going to be awesome.
