Don't know what the prize will be but we'll come up with something good.

I'm on record saying we will gain a total of 521 yards. If we get to an

early lead, Charlie may be content to run the ball and I could fall short. I

have no doubt we could eclipse this figure if that were our ultimate goal.

What say ye?

Without a doubt in my mind, the Irish will rack up 350 passing yards and 250 rushing yards for a GRAND total of 600 yards. Tate and Floyd will each have 100 yards apiece and Rudolph will have 50 yards. Ragone and Armando Allen will each compile 50 yards. On the running side, Robert HUUUUGHES and Jonas Gray will each have 100 yards. Aldridge will end up with 50 yards.

I forgot a word

I say about 370 yards passing. The nevada passing defense is not good at all. We will get about 165 yards rushing. We could get more or less, but I think we will have a passing style attack, and then near the end, about the beginning of the 4th quarter, we wwill run the ball more often than not. We will have about 535 total yards.:-D

I'm waiting for Sir John, Schelly and the mayor of South Bend. This is something we

can actually decide on who is the winner without a debate!!!!

500 plus total yards. :)

200-250 would be my guess. I don't see us throwing it a lot as CW loves to hide his hand.

Come on!!! You have us getting just 250 yards against a team like Nevada?!? We will get more against USC. With Clausen,Tate, Floyd, Rudolph, Armando, Smith, and all the other guys, you're giving us 200-250?!?

My bad, I thought this was supposed to reflect JC's passing yardage. Over all yardage I would put between 400-500. I misread the title, my apologies! :D

Ok, DonJaun, I just thought that the '07 seson was still stuck in your mind! Good guess, but I put up a little more.

a lot of the total yardage will depend on the type of game it is. If our defense is stout and our offense what I think it should be, this game will be over early. Clausen will throw for about 250 yards, the bulk of which will be in the first half with maybe one drive of the second. The rest of the game will be ground out. We should run for about 225 yards, mostly in the second half. So that's about 475 yards. Our defense should hold them to around 225 yards total offense, about 75 to 100 of which in the air. We should also have a 3 to 1 turnover margin. The fianl score should be in the 45- 10 range.

If it's not something similar to that, I don't want to know about it.

All I can think about is Jimmy sitting back there looking around and having all the

gift certificate to Starbucks on me!!! Sir John .. you might want to pick an exact

number to be eligible for the prize!!!

Oklahoma I said 500 plus. Now "guessing" 539. I think we all know we need that run to suppliment JC's passing. As well Charlie knows he will need to post some numbers to ease the heat.

i expect alot of short fields from great field position-- so the numbers could be low-----clausen 235 yards passing--- 4 tds-- crist 25 yards----

armando-- 102 yards-- hughes 73 -1 td-- aldridge 22 yards-1 Td

total passing--260yards-- total rushing 197--- total yards 457
