Anyone worried about Chris Martin? I just read on II that he tripped to Colorado last weekend.

nope, he wore ND gear and the reporter from Colorado even said he's 100 percent Irish. He went there to take his younger cousin to get him accustomed to the recruiting life. He told Pete Sampson right after the B&G game that he was going and not to worry and dont listen to any BS. He's 100 percent committed to ND. He's been recruiting for us since he committed, and a lot of recruits mention him in their articles.

Sweet. Maybe he can be the anchor recruit for a monster defensive class.

yup Devon Carrington a safety from AZ (goes to same HS as G. Robinson that's coached by Steve Belles former ND player)

 

And cant agree more Gburg, no worries about Lombard, Smith, & Martin. Martin was even asked if CW left would he change his mind and he said if CW lost his job that he'd be 95 percent committed to ND, right now he's 100 percent committed. It's not all about wins & CW, it's about the school & tradition and he wants to be on the team that puts ND back on the map.

normally i say you guys are insane to think these kids are reading boards like this one....i dont even remember how i found this one....but in Chris Martin's case you never know. He's definately a Rivals junkie.

 

But more importantly he's already a valuable member of our program and the day he steps on campus he challenges to be the 3rd down rush-end. I'd personally love it if we could have he and Fleming on the outside on passing downs with EJ in the middle in 1 to 2 years. that's a lot for an OL to worry about.

From everything I've read and seen, I'm a lot more worried about Coach Weis being on campus in 2010.

Chris Martin's mom posts on Scout Premium board on a regular basis. Chris and his family are all Irish. Definitely no worries there. They are recruiting others as well.

Regis was on Letterman tonight and said we will be good next year.
