I certainly hope it's one of the most improved in the country. Still a little concerned about strength and conditioning.

Hawaii, i agree this bg game will feature the defense imo , we are going to be a very good team this year.

I just hope that 100 starts combined is a GOOD thing.... Would we be better if the # was 35??? Maybe.. I hope the OL is finally ready this year.

If you haven't read this article below I suggest you take a look at it. It talks about the success of a college football team in the number of cumulative starts among its offensive linemen. The magic number for success is somewhere around 75.

if the 05 offense was playing with this years defense , we would have beaten USC and MSU--- both a play away-- and given ohio state a closer game , and it was very close till the 4th quarter anyhow---- actually i think the 05 line's collective starts makes the point for overall TEAM PERFORMANCE---if only it was WALLS OR BLANTON OR RASHON INSTEAD OF AMBROSE ON THAT 4th AND FOREVER!!!!!!--- WE MIGHT HAVE WON IT ALL

Hah, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts it would be Christmas all year long...

 

But, I agree, I don't think the 2005 Oline was THAT bad. I can remember numerous times that Brady would just stand back there for 4-5 seconds without anyone coming near him, and allowing him to scan the whole field. If we can average 150 yards on the ground and 275 through the air, I think we win 10 games.

i truly appreciate the attention to my writing style -- but to be accurate--

i dont use hyphens--- that would be wrong and pointless!!--- i use DASHES---the dashes are used for dramatic emphasis--- why-- because my posts are dripping with so much drama and emotion-- they become something more--they morph into dramatic irish poetry---meant to be read aloud if need be--the dashes control the rate at which my burning insights are unveiled -- and enhance their rythm for any who choose to read aloud!!----yes it is a true burden to have taken so much Kool-Aid i have transcended prose and gone on to poetry---but it is a burden i welcome with open arms---that being said-----------------------------------GO IRISH!!!!!!
