I flew to Florida last week during Spring Break and found myself sitting next to a girl and her mom from Minneapolis. The girl is a junior at Cretin-Durhnam high school and is close friends with Seantrel Henderson (btw I learned that his name is pronounced "Sheontrel").

After talking for awhile and hearing lots of stories about him, I asked her if he gave any indication to where he'd go to college. She said he has pretty much been offered scholarships from everyone, but also said she thought he was leaning towards Notre Dame but also had lots of in-state pressure to attend Minnesota. I never said anything about being an ND fan, so she didn't have any reason to mention it otherwise. I wouldn't put a whole lot of stock in what a 16 year old girl thought, but she did seem to know him quite well. She also knew Floyd pretty well, and said he's been trying to get Seantrel to come to ND.

That is truly great news. recruits are much more likely to tell their friends what is really going on then they are the pundits.

Ok, ill go ahead and say it, I got a feeling that he ends up at ND. Same gut feeling that told me manti and floyd would be Irish and same one that told me chris donald wasn't.

Him starting at LT from day 1 has to be in his decision making, especially since he knows we lose Duncan after this year.

and if he watches the NFL draft this month he'll most likely see two LT's taken in the first 5 picks of this year's draft. that's where veducci's nfl experience might come into play as well, though i understand latina was a good recruiter as well...

Agreed...and the same one that had me voicing on this board that the "WR from DC" wouldn't be Irish (which got me nearly tarred and feathered on this board by someone who no longer posts here btw)

I don't think we can call it a pipeline until we get Henderson.

 

I don't think that's true. Most of the D1 prospects to come out of there in football have gone to ND recently.

How can you not call it a pipeine when you go Ryan Harris, RPN, Carufel, Floyd... That's 4 players. We always take their best D-1 players.
