Looks like he'll be at the Spring Game!!!

Great sign since he has visited us already for a Junior Day this year and a game last year (of course it had to have been the Syracuse game)

But it's great that he is coming down.

nice. where'd u hear this? is Cooper going to be at the game with him?

Really hope we get: Cooper, Jones, and Prater.

Also, heard things are looking very good for Nick Montana.

if nick does come to ND, ya gotta like the onions of a kid who would face his dad's legacy head-on like that. color me skeptical about him coming still, but i would like to be wrong...

looking at the potential recruits in this class, i think it would be ideal for any qb recruit. Look at who we could get on the O-line and who we could get at receiver, I would think that would be an eye opener for many recruits if we got Henderson, Lombard, Hurst, James, Barr, Smith, Prater, Jones, Cooper. Who wouldn't want to play QB with these guys around you.....if we can get some of those recruits.

According to an article with Denzel McCoy, he has ocme in contact with and said he is being recruited and encouraged to come to the Blue/Gold game by both Chirs Martin and none other than Nick Montana....evidently McCoy is coming and Tailer is trying (has a track meet conflict or something I think)

This years B&G game could be huge for getting recruits, especially if they really like what they see. I'm excited as all hell.

The fact that he decided to be a QB tells me he has onions. If he decides to come to ND, I do not think he will be under the same microscope as JC.....Nick may be the son of the greatest QB of all time, but he is not going to come in with the hype and super-high expectations that JC did.

I do believe he is going his own way, another University. I look to my own daughters and wanted to "channel" them a certain way but after a point they are their own people and Dad has to realize that. IMHO

Tai-ler Jones wont be making the spring game, but he's trying to come during his spring break before Easter. So in the next 2 wks we should see Andre Jones & Tai-ler at one of the practices. Hopefully Andre makes it a 3 day trip so Tai-ler can hang around and see 2 practices.

Why would we need to take 4 wr this class when we are already reasonabley stocked up there? Smith, Prater, and Jones would be a perfect haul for this year.

in order for it to stay stocked. but on top of that, goodman may be getting moved to 3rd string QB if he doesnt crack the WR depth chart and Smith, Jones & Corey Cooper can all play defense.

I personally believe we can take 2 WR this year and have no issues with staying stocked. We take 3 and we are definetly set. We take 4 and I think that is just going a tiny bit overboard. Especially if all our gets are highly ranked.

well people change positions in college. happens everywhere, so you get the best athletes to commit then if they dont pan out at that position then switch them to another one.

I think without question Weis & Co. take 3 WR's in the 2010 recruiting class. I would love to see more if they can land the elite of the class. Smith has got the tools but IMO he's one for the future who most likely won't see much PT until he's an upperclassmen.

If there are scholarships available and the other needs are filled I don't want to see ND passing on elite talent. There are a lot of stud WR's in this class that they are already involved with such as Prater, McCay, Woods, Jones and White.

We have no shot with McCay. It appears as though we aren't getting TJ Jones either.
