The thing that is so great about this topic-- is that there are so so many possible picks--i wont list them all but think about it a minute and over a dozen good guesses come to mind

 

MY PICK)__ Jonas Gray--- i think with aldridge moving to fullback -- and even though a expect great years from both armando and hughes---from the few runs he had i have a feeling on jonas--- 500 Yards on less then 100 carries through 13 games-- plus some TD's

sometimes a linemans attributes to a team is hard to measure, but I think Sam Young is going to be what everyone expected him to be coming out of high school. I think Verducci helps him reach his potential and anytime we need "4.1yds" we will be running right up his back. I do like the Jonas Gray pick a lot tho.

duval kamara: had a good freshman year and then went through the sophmore slump. i think with the db's emphasis on mike and golden i think duval will have an exceptional year.

Defense - KLM. He will terrorize quarterbacks time and time again.

 

Offense - AA. He has shown flashes of stardom but has been crippled behind that bad o line play. This year he breaks out and helps put games out of reach so Jonas can get in during the 4th quarter and get some experience and yardage. Tate, Floyd, Clausen, and Rudolph arent really capable of having a breakout season cause we all know what they are truly capable of.

 

One darkhorse that im picking would be a truly great story and that is Ragone. Man has been through so much if he came back under the shadow of Rudolph and constant knee injurys and showed what we all thought he would be then he would instantly be an Irish hero.

to me AA is a *very* likely choice. seemed to really be putting it together at the tail end of last season.

 

i think fleming, johnson and KLM *all* have a great chance to be breakout players. and maybe flier too...

I'm pretty stoked about Filer coming into the mix and hopefully starting. I think he's one of the least talked about players coming into the fold who could make the biggest impact.

I think Armando will be a stud this year with a better line. I do think Deon Walker will step up and be a great 3rd wr. On defense, I think Fleming will be great, but I do expect Ethan to step up too

Either AA or Clausen. Hard to argue with the glimpses we saw of Clausen's potential last year. Hoping that the Hawaii bowl was only a taste of what's to come.

If Verducci helps Sam reach his potential, then Sam should be our starting left tackle next year.

I'm going to step out on a line here and say......me. Yeah, you read it right. I really feel like I'm going to step it up this season. I'm ALMOST ready to predict a win. Not totally there yet BI...but I just might be getting close. This could be my break out year.
