Not a lot of info in this Free Press article on Henderson's visit this weekend but he's quoted as saying this was his best visit so far.

Outside of attending camp as a sophomore I don't think Henderson has taken an unofficial to ND yet, I could be wrong. Hopefully Mr Floyd can get him to come down for a couple visits

For some reason he thinks he would fit best in a spread offense and it represents his greatest chance for success.

 

I of course strongly disagree as I dont recall high draft picks from OTs in spread offenses. But I very easily could be wrong.

If he goes anywhere but ND. I will have no clue as to why we let him get away. Think about it. We have been on him since we were on Floyd over 2 years ago. His team mate and friend came here. If anyone can provide the information I would really love to know when the last time Seantrel came to ND. I think if we can get him for a visit or maybe the spring game we can land him.

Its a long process and like every other recruit he's going to change his mind about a dozen times, especially after visits. Let Charlie and the staff work on him.

If we have a very good season 10-2 or better I think we will have a great shot at this kid, but he like many other high profile recruits will probably see what unfolds during the season, another floundering season and Charlie in most likely hood will be gone, along with a lot of our recruits, If he does what we think he should this year the recruiting class will be where we expect to be with all the ND ties this year.

FWIW, Mike Frank on Irisheyes likes seems to think we have a good shot. I've also heard that he's planning on camping this summer. I think the camping news is just OK, because A) he would be treated like royalty at the spring game, and I think we would vault into the lead going into the season. B) It seems like more kids who say they are going to camp in the summer, never show, X. Nixon last year.....

We aren't the only ones to've been in on him early. This won't be us "letting him slip away", 'cause I'm not sure he was ever ours to begin with.

like Calves said, we arent the only ones that got on him early. on top of that he has more than 1 friend. brewster from in-state Minnesota added a couple kids from CDH on his roster whether being schollies or preferred walk-ons. Also someone who he called his best friend J.D. something has a cousin that goes to Michigan (seems to be J.D.'s fave too), so I'm sure he had a good visit.
