for the record, fiedorwicz (sp?) is soo low because they dont have any film on him at all, and they actually ranked him off of hearsay......and as for lombard, he was discussed but didnt make it, so that means he is prob a high 3*

rivals never rated lombard, that was scout that had him that high...but they said that he was just average at the AA combine and that he lacked athleticism

i have a hard time believing there is that much of a disparity between the people at rivals and the people at scouts. you mean they couldnt see his lack of athletcism from any of his films????

this list, even more so than the 100, is pretty haphazardly thrown together. They don't care until they near the end. There are stats on their blurbs that don't make sense. There's just no way they've done the necessary diligence on all these kids yet. Don't sweat this stuff right now. If you wanna know how coveted a player is this early in the game look at their offers.

At any rate, these initial rankings are hardly worth getting worked up over. You're talking about kids that haven't yet finished their junior years in HS - lots of late bloomers and early burnouts to look at before its all said and done. There's probably going to be 2-4 more of these revised lists.

 

The word on Lombard is his film looks lots better than his combine performance, and particularly when it comes to lineman I'll take on field performance over what he does running around in shorts. Its also why I'm not getting too worked up over Hurst yet either.

Were you serious about Munchie? Does he have the potential to have a legit shot at playing time at ND? Or did you just mention him because he has such a random name?
