Posted March 11, 200916 yr I got an email form my UCLA guy this past Saturday which simply said "Chris Martin is a fu*kin stud!!". I replied to him duh, but why are you telling me this? He replied back Sunday night and here is his quote: "He's a stud...he's huge, great athlete and he completely dominated today! Plus, he's a great kid!" I asked why he was saying this, but still haven't heard back from him. Now I know that my buddy is going to a big event in Vegas, but I don't think that's until the middle of March. Does anybody know where Martin was on that weekend? I've found that there were some NUC camp's in Alabama and Georgia on that weekend, but that's about it. Anybody else have any idea what he might have been talking about?
March 13, 200916 yr Clausen, Young, Manti, Martin, and Floyd are all solid applicants for "top recruit" award. I could even make a case for Walls too, but thats a debate for another time. true, calves but i still would say that ALL things considered, manti and JC are the two biggest "gets" that helped the program FAR beyond their effect on the field. now, you could make a pretty strong case for floyd that way but he was not the top 5 HS player either manti or JC was. maybe he was on talent but not on hype and rankings. i think when CW goes head-head with the number one CFB program in american for two HEAVILY hyped recruits and wins, that means the most nationally and hence, that's why i say JC and manti for now and the foreseeable future. btw, finally watched film on martin in pads. good. god. i thought manti was missile! martin destroys ball carriers. he seemingly never misses a tackle. and what frame. wow.

March 15, 200916 yr 81, i agree, in fact he shows the most potential of any player recruited for the past 10 years, his kid has a nose for the football , he will be an all American before he is done at Notre dame . I rate him very high . Great recruit , cw did a great job landing this kid and ma Tao o, going to be a great year.
March 15, 200916 yr I wonder what the slime poodle is trying to do behind the scenes? Like Teo, Burfect, a few of the UCLA ($C decommits) and the kid that went to the eastern USC, it shows they aren't buying into the bull$hit from the poodle anymore...his outburst and childish behaviour during the sanchez press conference definitely worked magic for anyone recruiting against them... I think Martin when he gave his word is 100%...but I'd still like him to be an EE.
March 15, 200916 yr As bad as it might sound, i think i am going to remain just a little nervous until he signs a letter, or is enrolled in class. He is just such an amazing talent, it would be horrible if he changed his mind. With that said, I trust that he will end up in South Bend.
