BGI did pretty good with their predictions.

They predicted 8 frosh would play their 1st yr with Braxton Cave being the only frosh they predicted to preserve a yr of eligibility even though he was the long snapper early in the season. 9 actually played and they predicted 7 of those with Jonas Gray & Joseph Fauria being the surprise additions.

In '05, 11 of the 15 frosh played in their first year. That's ridiculous and just shows how Ty killed us. He signed a total of two OL in two years ('03 & '04).

I agree with you Blacksox, It too a while to build up depth and seniority. I believe we were fooling ourselves if we thought we could do much more then 3 - 9 that awful year. Some were squeakers but still......Putting the game away aluded us.

dont forget about george west in the slot, a very smart verteran that got on the field very early his freshman year. He was injured last year hopefully he can come in and make some contributions.

All comes down to...can he run great routes and get free.

And remember to catch the ball! Was disappointed with Kamara in this respect at various times last year.

IRISH GEORGE-- you can take your black receiver DRIVAL and post it somewhere else if you please----- DEION WALKER-- 4.43--- scout evaluation-- stengths SPEED &SIZE -- JOHN GOODMAN-- scout evaluation:-- strengths COURAGE- ROUTE RUNNING SKILLS-- translation SAVY-- areas for improvment-- SPEED------when you throw around the shallow thinking of racial insinuations it tells us more about you then you might think--- there was no racial assumption just an honest football evaluation as we do here at DD--- your snide misguided remark is both insulting and revealing---- "WE ACCUSE OTHERS OF WHAT WE DISLIKE IN OURSELVES "--DEPAK CHOPRA- look in the mirror fella-

Please absolutely no racial insinuations. See our rules DD is and will be free from things like that.

I really like our WRs. I'm really interested in what Goodman does this year and as an upperclassman.

When asked who was the hardest to cover, Robert Blanton said Goodman because once he got behind you (which was often because he's deceptively elusive) you can forget about it because he's gone.

I wonder if Blantons opinion translates on the field.

jonas gray who couldnt play that week also has alot of nice things to say about goodmans surprising football speed---i dont know if he can crack the top 4 we are stacked-- but becuase of the QB experience and good running skill-- weather its a wildcat package or a flanker pass i would really like to find some package to utilize goodmans skills -- cant let any weapon get stale on the bench this year!------ and thank you SJ for putting the voice of authority behind my objections-- harsh tone ,as you know ,is not my way but i felt it was necessary ,aloha

Didn't sound like the Hawaii I know, but good job standing up for what we all believe in. DD is simply the best!
