I see a story on Scout a decision for this kid's comming "real soon". Does anyone know what school he's leaning towards? ND's just offered him. Not sure what our chances are with this kid.

I think he wants to go to Texas - but honestly, I could be WAY off.

A colleague of mine's son plays basketball with Wood at Second Baptist. He told me that Connor was very impressed with Oklahoma.

From what my colleague has told me, Wood is a first class kid. Good luck to him whatever he decides.

I heard Texas or Oklahoma. Case McCoy (Colts bro) just committed to Texas, so Connor might choose OK b/c of that, but he might believe he's the best QB in Texas (which is most likely true) and go to Texas anyway. Either way I heard he's prob staying home and ND couldnt do anything about it.l

It will be interesting to see if our new running back coach (T.Alford) can make

an impact with ND's Texas recruiting...

in all honesty with a lot of the Texas kids we offer, they already have it in their mind to stay home at (Austin, A&M, or Tech or the furthest they go away is OK or OK st). As long as we can get those kids that want to leave the state then that'll show how much of an impact he'll make. I have a good feeling about this year's class b/c there's a few FL, TX, & Cali guys with strong interest. Add a couple Jersey boys to our Midwest haul and this is the #1 class in the nation (and best class in ND history). I'm really excited for this class

Good point roto, and welcome to the board.

Wood right now is a smoking hole in Mike Shermans recruiting scheme...

god it makes me sick.

Sounds like Wood is bound for the horns...

We have had some luck in the past with QB's out of Texas, though. 5* QB Jason Street was all ours until that horrendous injury left him paralyzed. That was a tough one to take.

Wasn’t he a FSU commit?

You are talking about Varsity Blues, Semper Fi
