He's 6'8" and 300 pounds. He goes to Michael Floyd's High School and we've offered him. He's pretty much a guaranteed 5 star. What are our chances? Imagine Lombard at right tackle and this kid at left tackle. Oooo! I just got goose bumps.

He claims he's always been a Notre Dame fan but then said SC was the offer he was waiting for. Seems like mixed signals to me. Have to wait for more updates. None have been written in a long time.

An SC offer is a big deal. It validation to a recruit in a big way. It means you are the best of the best.

Yeah for sure SC is an impressive offer. It would have made me feel a lot better if he said "ND is the offer Ive really been waiting for".

they all want ND or USC but end up falling prey to that bastard in gainesville...........

Thanks. The weather is too bad to go outside so why not hang out online.

Maybe that was the offer he was waiting for to a) show he's an elite recruit and b) to turn down that no-good sonabitch Carroll and say he's going to Notre Dame!! I can dream can't I?

He could be that one great LT Notre Dame has been waiting for.

Yea, if you're from the midwest and get an offer or from outside of Cali. We'll have a good shot at this kid. Luckily there are plenty of good targets at OT this year. We already got 1 good one locked up which is huge. That Hurst kid is an equally important recruit, assuming he projects at LT as well.

watch out for osu here

I've heard that SC isn't that interested. They don't like their chances enough to pull a "Manti" and camp out on the kid's doorstep. Between ND, OSU, and Minnesota, there are three schools that probably have a better shot at the kid from day one.

If all he does is look at the current depth chart on both schools, no question its either local U or Irish. OSU has Marcus Hall, Mike Adams, just insane talent levels on the Oline.

Henderson is a total beast and ND needs to devote the amount (or more) of resources they did with recruiting Teo. Cretin Durham is indeed a feeder school, Rashon Powers-Neal, Matt Carufel, Mike Floyd (I think Joe Mauer as well) went there. Watching Henderson's video's, he just kill his man every play. I haven't had a recruiting man-crush on a guy like this since Gerald McCoy, lets hope it ends differently.

I don't think this kid will have to worry a ton about depth charts, he has the size and plays at a very good program, so I would assume that they have a good weight training program. I think this guy is the best tackle prospect since Orlando Pace.
