Now that we have identified the freshman class, let the speculation begin. Who will contribute next year? What say you?

well, let's be honest, shaq, tyler and manti all have a great deal of potential to contribute right away.

 

I think Shaq will have the longest wait, just considering who's in front of him.

the only players i see making a big impact would be Teo, Stockton, Evens and Woods.

dont discout ben turk---- a punter can be a weapon-- maust was very sketchy lasy year -- TURK is an exceptional punter-- doesnt need to know the plays yada yada--- charlie thought so highly of him he brought in his own PERSONAL SNAPPER--( talk about a prima donna punter)-- its true the snapper has received alot of ridicule--( i guess that comes with the territory when your carrer is a long snapper)--lol--but he is the best snapper out there-- he gets the ball back very quick and very accurately-- no more snaps sailing over the punters head and no blocks--- TURK was averaging 41 yards a punt-- i think he can get that to 44-- and i expect him to be the punter next year!----------charlie has no qualms about changing kickers-- if you kick best in practice you get the job!

I think all of them will have an impact next year. They are going to make the practices all tougher and more competitive which should improve everyone, whether they get on the field much on Saturday's or not.

 

That is the most important impact of all...even if they don't see the field the guys behind them will see them over their shoulder and have to practice that much harder. Makes everyone that much better.

I almost forgot the longsnapper. Good chance he'll see some PT.

Here's an opinion from Rivals. Its not that the author's opinion means much to me. Its the nickname given to Motta that caught my attention. I'm curious as to where/how he got such a name.

I think Teo will split time with Toryan. Aside from that I think Motta will get a lot of special teams time and maybe the snapper punter and kicker.

 

It will be a real battle for the rest of these guys to make an instant impact. I'm so happy we get to say that now, this is the way it should be. Upperclassmen should be doing the brunt of the work and the only underclassmen that should be playing are the truly special ones like, Teo.
