Still has not sent in LOI, talking it over with family to make sure what he wants to do. It's tough because im sure he is leaning toward ND, but he does not know as much about ND as UCLA.

If Toma is torn about ND and UCLA, then he should take an official to ND, if he hasn't burned all of his official visits yet. He still has time to make up his mind....no one is rushing him

Toma apparently received a few late offers to Utah & Hawaii on top of ND. I think he's still torn between ND & UCLA, not b/c the caliber of schools, but b/c he has relationships with the LA coaches and just started with the ND coaches. I say go take an official visit or just listen to Manti and commit

No offense to the kid im sure he's a decent player but I hope he passes on ND. It would be a rash decision to choose ND at this point and I'm not that high on him anyway.

 

Save the schollie for next year.

If he will make Manti feel more comfortable, then I am all for it...It's not like this guy is a total schlep. He can fill whatever role Oliver or Thigpen was going to fill.

His only other listed offer besides UCLA was Army. And any offer this kid has has to come with a grain of salt. I guess he's "quick" but he doesn't seem to be the athlete EJ Banks is. If we are truly in great shape next yaer, especially at WR, than save the schollie. This kid's film is not like Thigpens.
