It looks like Jawanza Starling might not be looking at Georgia after all. A good source from a Florida Website said he believes Starling is down to two (ND & USC). Starling is big on academics, so the Irish might pull an upset here.

The Irish staff still believe they have a shot at Teo, so dont write him off yet. Also the Lemming rumors about ATH - Roby Toma (Teo's friend/teammate) may be true, apparently it's not the first time this has been out there.

Where's Rock when you need him. I trust the info he supplies. Everything else we keep seeing is just message board speculation recycled and regurgitated like the kids game Telephone.

I heard that. When Rock says it though it's set in stone :). We may not be there yet with any of these guys.

they have been hoping for him to stay -- he more then teo or anyone else has been the focus of most of the SC fans attention this last two weeks-- i feel just horrible for them -just horrible-- the reason he coudnt commit was academic problems-- wow what does that say about ASU!

At ASU it is extremely easy to get accepted. Like 2.0 GPA easy.

Hey I resent that. I went to ASU! Really though, some of the classes I had were a complete joke. And all I had to do was spell my name right on the application to get accepted.

And before you all think I don't know how to read, I did get an academic full ride to IU. But I had to choose the school with the hottest women (my 40 year decision).

ASU's admittance requirements are the same as usc's.

apparently not, if Burfict goes to ASU it's b/c he didnt qualify to SC

Usually school academic standards are mandated by the conference. CUSA grabs a lot of ineligibles from the SEC whose standards are higher than the bottomline of the NCAA standards. PAC-10 standards are probably all the same.

What's an actionable offer?

It means M Carter could have actually committed. Stanford and Florida send out over 100 offers every year but not everyone that receives one can commit.

Yes - and it is a way for Florida to get in front of tons of athletes. Pretty slimy over all though.

I resurrected this thread and post for one reason. Lemming was right after all. Some of us including myself thought he was just talking out of his a$$ but he knew what he was talking about.

My apologies to Mr. Lemming and for the second straight year, I have to apologize after NSD. This year I was more than happy to do so.

Good to know considering I was accepted to ASU but chose not to attend. Ugh, what an awful campus.
