It looks like Jawanza Starling might not be looking at Georgia after all. A good source from a Florida Website said he believes Starling is down to two (ND & USC). Starling is big on academics, so the Irish might pull an upset here.

 

The Irish staff still believe they have a shot at Teo, so dont write him off yet. Also the Lemming rumors about ATH - Roby Toma (Teo's friend/teammate) may be true, apparently it's not the first time this has been out there.

As much as I like the fact that Lemming is a ND homer, he makes ridiculous statements like he did in the SBT today. It's like he speaks on any "rumor" that he hears. I don't believe a thing about those reports.....would love them if they were true though!!

I heard UF is out. Just heard some UGA people will be attending his signing ceremony in Tally. Not too good, but still have some hope. We will see tomorrow

oh no-- i have to start my rainy hawaii morning with talk of greg little !!-- ZIGGY may still be right-- my pessimism turned to optimism after the moore has us his leader and thigpen wants to be irish talk-- but over the last four days pessimism set in again big time as my recent posts make clear--but i will admit this is getting as confusing as an episode of lost-- with about just as many weird storylines----its georgia no its florida no its usc no its ucla but look again hiding in the secret cave its pollard and roby toma obviously they are part of the "others"----i have ony been following recruiting since charlie came-- but you have to admit this has become a case of MR TOADS wild ride---round and round it goes where it stops nobody knows--i hope we do get at least one but even if we strike out as far as recruiting goes this has really been an ENTERTAINING FINISH OF PLOT LINES!!--its almost too bad it has to end tomoorrow

This recruiting year has been nuts... Personally, given the way NSD has treated us in the past (KLM being the only positive thing I can think of), I see tomorrow as a win-win situation. We lost two guys at positions we could afford (Pollard, nyshier), 2010 is looking HUGE, and the on-field product next year HAS to be better. Any pleasant suprises tomorrow are straight gravy.

 

Just the fact that all these rumours are swirling with bigtime prospects shows that Chuck and co. are recruiting their tails off.

 

Now... that being said... Im thinking we get a safety (Moore/Starling) and thats about it. However, just the way we went after Teo will set us up to contend for both hawaians and LDS recruits in the future.

Yea, you gotta give it to CW and co., they ARE taking it right down to the wire.

I am still calling for us to be shut out. I just don't see "ND type" guys pulling off this last day shenanigan stuff...if they are ours, they already would be on board. I hope I am wrong though.
