February 3, 200916 yr Espn recruiting expert just said Teo is between USC and ND as far as he sees it. He picked USC yesterday and didn't mention anything else at that time.
February 3, 200916 yr Don't count USC out of it for Starling. well, if what has been posted here and elsewhere is true, academics is important to starling, it doesn't take a homer to think we'd be ahead of USC in that regard. hence, my deduction that if it's down to those two schools, we're most likely in the lead...course i know i could be wrong...

My guess is that Petey will try to scare him into staying 4 consecutive years with veiled threats and nightmare scenarios. If Manti spurns him though, its under the bus Mr Te'o goes and he is replaced by another 5 star ILB. Sorry Manti, its just the way they roll at USC. Its embedded somewhere in the zillions of posts about Teo. I still dont think it matters much because they are going to let him go where he wants and I think thats SC. Apparently he stated somewhere that SC was his dreamschool. I keep saying if he really means all that stuff about making a difference, getting a good education, being out of his comfort zone, etc., he'll be Irish. If not, it was all bull.
