A nice group of players but since Thigpen is going to UCLA first and ND later, after LOI signing day, we'll have to wait on that one.

I'm with you Speedster. I think we get 3 of 4. Not so sure yet if we get Moore or Starling though. Hopefully one of them.

I'd say Moore, Te'o, and Thigpen. I think Starling is the biggest longshot. I really think we're getting Moore and Te'o though.

Between Teo Starling and Moore im thinking 2 tops and yes 2 would be UNBELIEVABLE but I know there are two sides to every coin and we could get shut out too. Ive been disappointed to many times so im trying my best not to be to optimistic but i will be disappointed if we go 0 for 3, if we can just manage even one though ill be very happy, more then one and ill be ecstatic.

Ditto. The word is getting out now, and not just from the UCLA site, that his meeting with Petey wasnt all that smooth. Other recruits are starting to say the SC staff are arrogant and over confident.

After talking to a few guys I know, I'm feeling a little more optimistic about our chances at Starling. We all know he had a great visit with the Irish, but the daunting part was just how many other teams were technically in it. Sounds like its starting to get whittled down, and the Irish are still in the hunt, though we obviously aren't out of the woods yet with the Georgia visit.

 

As for the rest of the field, I really do wish I weren't this optimistic - but I am. I could see us ending up with all four, though safe money is on one coming to South Bend. Who knows though, could end up being great!

Frankly, it's just a matter of time and another BCS bowl before the majority of big time recruits start coming our way. Then I hope our coaches can keep the egos in check so they don't fall in to the same trap as some of the "other" programs. Be nice to have entrance music for coaches like they do for pro wrestlers. Give CW a solid two years of winning and getting a lot of the top recruits and he will enter to the tune, "Now you're messing with a Son of a bi$%*!!!!! I just hope CW drops this sportsmanship crap this year and runs up 60+ on every team that we can!

I've been hopping on all the boards all day (Yes, I have no life, LOL!) and it's funny how things make your feelings change.

 

I said earlier my gut said Manti, Moore and Thigpen to ND.

 

Today, I'm feeling more like Manti and Thigpen but not so much Moore.

 

BUT, I'm feeling more love from Starling now. Can you tell I'm confused. LOL!

 

Manti was surrounded by other Polys all day today and gave him the "red carpet" treatment. BYU did the same thing (surrounding him with Polys) during his visit and he said it felt "too comfortable" and dropped them. I think Poodle made a big mistake doing the same thing. I now believe Manti's ALL IRISH! (Just an opinion guys!!)

 

The more I read about Moore and what his father says, the more I believe it's more about football and less about education. He says USC is still in it for Moore although it's rare a decommit recommits (excluding Pollard of course).
