This isn't like the time when CW was at the Heisman awards for Quinn and told an ESPN reporter that we would be pleasantly surprised with the "silent" commits that we had is it? Cuz that didn't turn out too well for us.

kinda, except that situation was dealing with 17-18 year old kids...The DL coach rumor involves a mature adult with a business like mentality. I'm sure it'll be handled accordingly

The only "pleasant" surprise I could think of is Romeo Crennel.

Michael Strahan would be pretty sweet. Chris Zorich wouldn't be a bad one, either. Jon Gruden... Bill Cowher... Lawrence Taylor... Mike Shanahan.

Why would we care about screwing up another teams recruits? I say make it a official and go after the recruits he recruited at whatever team he was at. We need all the DL we can get.

I heard this earlier yesterday, and thought, that would be sishonest to the team he was leaving. Just like last year when the DC swore he wasn't leaving FLA and got the letter signed from OH and then the nest day left.

 

I hope it has nothing to do w another big schools coach saving their recruits.

 

What it instead makes me think, is that it may be a coach from one of the 2 NFL teams still playing.....

well that is generally true--- there are no indigenious birds to the islands -- yet there were many birds here before any settlers sailed up from the marquesas--- they were "super" birds able to catch the wind and fly a long long way!

and here i thought some dude named sandwich dragged them along for a ride.........
