at 7 AM Pacific time. Way to get the day started, I guess. His father didn't sound pleased that some of the SC boards were saying that he couldn't compete with some of their current recruits.

Also, one of his college teammates is leaning to Colorado.

I was even surprised by it," Moore Sr. said. "I know everyone was but it's not for the reasons everyone is saying. I read all the talk on the message boards and just have to laugh at some of the things I'm reading. Let me just say this, it has nothing to do with football. People need to understand that football isn't the only think you look at when you make a decision like this.

"People were saying he was afraid to compete with Patrick (Hall) and T.J. (McDonald). Byron committed in the summer after those guys. Then I read that he saw them play at the Army game and didn't want to compete. That's crazy, Byron played just as much as those guys in the game and this has nothing to do with either player.

lol! Glad you caught that.

Its never a good sign when someone announces that they will announce immediately following a visit to another campus.

i'll already be up for a good 3 and 1/2 hours when he announces. My plan is to wake up at 6:15, take a shower, cook breakfast, then plant my ass in front of the computer til my afternoon class. East Coast players will be announcing at 7 EST, so the majority of our class should be locked up by 10 :-)

I have a feeling Moore is going somewhere else. Still holding out hope for Starling. Who knows, I'd be happy with 1 of the 2.

that's just sad

Many posters did the same thing when Oliver de-commited. It's just the way it is.

We need an athletic safety in this class. Moore is more of a Bruton (FS) who can cover. We need that in this class. I would love to get Starling no matter what, but in terms of need, we need Moore more!!

The reason I would like to see Moore sign w ND the most is because it would probably put us in a good position for his buddy Sean Parker for the '10 class at safety. They are really tight, and when Moore announced he was interested in LSU and ND, Parker did the same. So I think it could be a 2 for 1 deal at safety.

thats weird, great, but weird. it is listed under the picture. wonder why it isn't in the premium section............anyway, thanks greenmountain for the update !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great find, Green....man I hope its true! With the lack of safeties that we have taken in the last few classes, it makes sense for Lord Byron to be ND

no offense green-- this would be great news-- well fantastic news is more like it-- all i can read is we will move back into the top 20 with a commit or two--- can anyone else confirm that byron WILL COMMIT!!
