This may be too big of a presense for Charlie? Maybe? But who better?

I've been reading him for a handful of years, he thinks he is bigger than the program, we have Charlie .. Joe T. is the past .. I'm not interested in his shoot from the hip .. banquet comments .. if he is as smart as he thinks he is .. show up at spring camp and live it (help out already, if he thinks he's the know all) until its over...

Need a bigger stadium to house both of their egos

Maybe he can tell our QBs how to dress, cut their hair, and spit out their gum.

Yeah, this would be more the norm for him. Funny, but true. His presence would/could have negatives?

Not sure but think he is based in California, Winery and all of that.

Oh god......that has got to be the most horrible idea I have EVER read in relation to ND.

JT is NOT a guy you want coaching ANYONE. I do not believe he is capable of doing anything good for our football team.....period.

He's never coached the position before, has no coaching history at all (I believe) -- aren't we trying to avoid these guys right now?

I don't know about him as qb coach, but I wouldn't mind NBC hiring JT to do our games. He may at least support the school during the broadcasts. As far as qb coach, I like Powlus and how he recruits but I want a qb coach that had more of a grasp of playing qb. By this I mean Powlus was here during our run first days, and he probably didn't get the coaching he deserved or needed, so I would like a qb coach that has broader depth and knowledge of the game

Agree, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. No more on the job training.

Our future QB coach is on our staff right now. CW needs to go back to being our QB coach.

amen............

I believe it was this way from past Weis Pressers.

When he fired Minter and Vass (QB Coach) he stated that he decided to go in a different direction. (Brown Paulus) Per Paulus, he mentioned, "he has been there I have not." That is the upside and downside of being a QB, and teaching lessons learned on to others. Obviously this has not been the case.

Some here at DD and elsewhere call him just a glorious "ballboy." Whether he is teaching anything and passing on useful information is the debateable point. Once again without a run game any QB will fail. It starts with the line.
