DJonesIRISH
Anyone heard anything about the visit?
da coach
There are conflicting stories...some have him attacked by snowballs and staying in the locker room for the second half with other recruits/hosts...Others have him returning for the second half and loaded up with ND gear...either way, he watched what was our worst performance of the season with the ugliest display of fan behavior in my lifetime and saw a senior class denied the victory lap around the stadium... CW's public comments were, "would you have made the difference out there today?"...Where my reply would have been...does any one person have that dramatic of an impact on a game? SDIrishFan
CW's public comments were, "would you have made the difference out there today?"...Where my reply would have been...does any one person have that dramatic of an impact on a game? The answer would be a resounding yes. Just ask Brady Quinn.
Dobhar-Chu
Maybe someone can peek and simply post if the response was positive somehow. Or not.
SpeedsterX
From all that I gathered around the net, I hear he had a great time before and during the game and that he even liked the "snowball" incident as he was throwing them right back into the student section with a big smile on his face and at halftime, he had recruiting functions to attend to and went to those. (BTW, this is all hearsay) Have no idea what he thought about the loss but I am sure it probably wasn't good. Who knows?
Guest alwaysirish
I can tell you that him leaving the game at halftime was completely untrue whoever started that rumor. I read that he went into the recruiting lounge to warm up and that is why he dissapeared at halftime. Other than that, I have'nt heard a damn thing. Was'nt banking on a committment from him anytime soon anyhow, but am curious about Byron Moore and have'nt heard anything about him either. SpeedsterX
Someone on another board said that after the visit, Moore was still 100% Trojan. (Again, message board hearsay).
Guest irishrick
Yup your right if he was engaged in the snowball fight and smiling he will keep his word . Go irish forget that other site , go irish
El Hombre
Speedster, Moore did say that he was 100% USC after his visit to ND. This is per a Rivals article from the USC site.

TheRizz
Sounds like we were rising on his board bigtime. However, then the snowball debacle at the stadium. Then, the Charlie bashing on every news outlet. Now we're sliding back into third. IMO
chirodomer
I find it interesting that one of the honolulu newspapers was the first to report that CW was back. I have a gut feeling that Teo is Irish. I'd like to see a Xavier Nixon come on board

Then, the Charlie bashing on every news outlet. Now we're sliding back into third. IMO I honestly think the snowball situation was blown out of proportion by people who weren't participating. The more I heard, it seemed like the recruits were in a snowball war with the students. My guess is the recruits were near the team, so of course the team was going to get hit. Manti was part of the snowball fight. I think the media spun it. I don't know. I think Teo had a good time. It does seem like Hawaii always talks about Charlie visiting. Why would he take Polian, if the deal wasn't closed, though?
artfernisanass
Teo is as likely as nixon, imo - not bloody likely!

jfschellcrna
definitely more fun than the game.....................
Guest SirJohn
I feel the snow ball thing is blown out to much also. Those are "fun" things and meant to be that way. If you are in an area of snow don't you remember doing that when younger? I sure do.
