how come ESPN said this?

"Notre Dame athlete commit Cierre Wood, an ESPNU 150 talent, carried 23 times for 119 yards (5.2 average) but was kept out of the endzone as Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.) blasted Santa Ana 49-6, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Wood started strong but was limited to just 45 yards on his final 16 rushing attempts Friday night."

they make no mention of him being injured...they just say he was shut down

Isn't Montana's boy the QB for Oaks?

Yes, his name in Nick Montana. I would love to see him end up at ND since we need a qb for next years class

Urban takes a run at all the top flight committed recruits. Thats no shocker.

That said, I don't see Cierre jumping ship for the Liar. Its pretty clear that the ground game in South Bend leaves a lot to be desired. Locking down a starting job is within the realm of possibilities if he shows up physically ready.
