I love when ND starts at 2:30 at home. I hate that extra hour. Washington's 8 oclock eastern start was dreadful esp with the World Series on (Go Phils). Thank God there was a rain delay and I got to watch the whole first half. But just wanted to say that I'm loving the 2:30 start this saturday esp since it's such a big game.

i like it too, personally 3:30 is too much tailgating for me, we usually start like 8 am and that extra hour is a little too much for me, probably because i cant drink haha, but yeah i like the 2:30 game as well

I just realized that if the Rays force a game 7, there will be NHL, NBA, MLB College Football all on the same day - (during the NFL season)

Haha, now that is funny! I'm with you. I loved playing baseball growing up but watching it is like slapping your nuts on the ground.

WHAT? I hate the 230 start because it robs us of tailgaiting! Especially this time of year when the sun is struggling to come up at 830a. Personally I wish the games started at 5p. Put a Nascar race on before hand to kill time or something.

I love it. I can finally watch a game that doesnt end at 1 a.m. Germany time. I usually fall asleep at church the next day and my wife kicks me in the leg to wake me up. I come away from these games banged up worse than some of the players.

agreed. baseball and basketball should either shorten their seasons or play from febuary untill august. i still don't understand why you need to play like 160 games in a baseball season.

I've said this before. My Dad would have one of the (3 channels) back then on a baseball game. Bored me to deatth, watching the spittintg, crotch adjusting delays. He would fall asleep in his chair so I would change channels to something else. Not minutes later he would wake and say put that game back on. Then fall asleep again so I would again attempt to turn the channel. Same thing. This would go on 4 - 5 times a b ball game.

lol, I can't stand baseball either. The longer seasons really rob it of being interesting at all anyway. As for the 2:30 start I'm in AZ so that's a 11:30 start for me which means I've got to wake up with a foam-dome on in order to get in the proper mood for the games... I like the later start. It's like dragging Chistmas morning out rather than wake up and it's done you get be all excited all day long.

All our fellow Domer's in Iraq will be watching it Sunday morning tape delayed on AFN. Hopefully I'll get to watch it online, if not its Sunday for me as well. I might have to fake sick and get out of Mass so I wont miss any of the action.
