Guest irishrick
Hey semper, saw video of mccoy , wow is an understatement , i don't think we can stop him . Dosen't look to promising at the moment, its going to be a wet field and temps in the high 40 to 50. This could help the runner, moreso . Irish by 3 points . Irish by 3 points .wet field?? not sure what you mean. no rain in forecast up to and after sunday. this kid is REALLLLY good, but we can stop him. the offense is fairly unidimensional. pressure bostick, stop the run. remember, they need to stop OUR offense. the team with the fewest turnovers wins. i'll be there, which isn't always a good thing, since i've seen them lose a lot more than win................ Irish Chris
So then we all know who to blame if we lose, right?
GermanyDomer
Isnt McCoy a bit of a slasher type runner? A wet field should hurt him. It also might hurt our passing game.

IrishGrizz
I heard on the B & G radio program that it was supposed to be low 50s and sunny for the game on this Saturday.
IrishKevin
At kickoff the temp SHOULD be around 63 degrees with very little clouds. 5-10 mph winds out of the sw. No rain. The one thing that sticks out to me is... THIS IS COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEATHER. Hell, this is ND weather. But all of this could change too. It is the Midwest. It's been four weeks since the boys have played at home and I think they are ready. I would love to see the pep rally in person tonight. I bet that place is going to go nuts! On a side note guys... some of you might know I got married on the 27th of September! Well we got news that Amie, my wife is pregnant (honeymoon baby)! She already vetoed Golden as a first name. Now either Montana, Brady, or Knute. And if it is a girl... God help me!
Guest brady112106
No one's mentioned the chance of green jerseys. Any thoughts? I would think this would be a good game to do it for the extra boost of energy. I think that's the purpose of them, even though I have gotten into a habbit of cringing when I see them run out with them on.
Guest SirJohn
Congratulations Kevin. All the best to you, your wife and the baby. Keep us posted how this goes.

IMO, not only is this not a rivalry game (no matter what the pitt boards say) but the implications of this game are not big enough to knock the moth balls off the Green Jerseys. I would like to see them come out next year against Navy at the earliest. That would (hopefully) take the "hex" off those.
IrishGrizz
WTG, Kevin. Congrats to you and Amie. I really think the green jerseys should be held for awhile. Maybe next year or '10.
LUCKOTHEEIRISH
Although vastly improved I don't think this team deserves to wear the green jerseys yet....
toddrhodes
The weather in South Bend has been gorgeous yesterday, today, and should be the same all this weekend. It was definitely wet from the "snow" on Mon/Tue but that's drying out just fine. Should be a swell day for tailgating and watching the game (albeit from home, in my case). IrishGuy
To me, the green jersey's no longer hold that special something. They are shirts that should be worn on Sr. day....and that's it.
GunSlinger
I like the green jerseys but they do not merit being worn in this game. Maybe if ND was playing PSU this weekend but not for sPitt. I know I shouldn't have but I went over to one of their message boards and let me tell you about a group of disgusting second rate fans sPitt has posting over there. I hope ND hammers this team tomorrow.
Guest irishrick
Gunslinger i hope your right , as for the green jerseys , not this year. Unlesss we go to a bcs bowl. Go irish ............
IrishGrizz
Hate to be so dumb as to not know the answer to this, but have the Irish ever worn Green Jerseys in a bowl game? That, to me would be worth it.

How about Montie? Actually, Montana is a girl's name. 3. Bradeen? I know, I'm reaching. 4. As for Knute, well you're on your own there buddy.
