I've been a long time reader, but wanted to post what I saw tonight.

 

Shaq Evans had 3 touchdowns. 1 punt return, 1 fade, and 1 reverse. After watching Bumpus (Washington St. and now Seahawks) and Jaison Williams (Oregon) for 3 years, Evans looks like a combination of the 2. He has some of the shake of Bumpus and some of the physical stature of Williams. However he was ejected from the game for excessive celebration on his punt return for a touchdown. He is going to miss next weeks game if not 2 more games. In my opinion his coaching staff doesn't utilize him as much as they should. They only threw to him 5 times, when he had a clear advantage over the DB trying to cover him. He was also cramping in the 3rd quarter before being ejected.

Very nice review. Great night for High School football. Shaq more and more sounds like he would be a pretty good fit for us.

Let's see if i understand?? Shaq had a great first half, then gets tossed out for excessive celebration, and he got a possible 2 game suspension!!!! holy crap did he punch the referee? And the game was tonite, and coach already threw down a suspension.... wow maybe he has been talking to T.O. ??

I don't know. We have some guys who like to celebrate when they hit 6! I know it's hard for the receivers not to go all "ocho cinco" and stuff when they hit pay dirt!

i understand sitting him down, but a two game suspension????????? he must rub that coach the wrong way.............

its not the coach giving him a suspension its a CIF rule

i was wondering the same thing bout the 2 gamer. that'd be a shame. might get another ND visit though

 

In NJ if someone's suspended, the player's not allowed to attend the game. At least that's how it was a few years ago, not sure if it changed. I just remember a local school having to forfeit the game b/c the player was on the sideline in street clothes.

He might just be interested in seeing who will still recruit him.

anything new with shaq? is their a chance he'll be deciding soon?
