Maybe they saw what happened to Stockton and are playing it cool, no need to go nuts and get hurt.
hawaiiirish
i really like all three of these recruits-- stockton is a force and a position of great need-- hes is very likely the best DT charlie has recruited apologies to newman who may be as good once he gets started-the injury is sorta minor as far as knee injuries go - partially torn meniscus-- and hes an EE-- he not only will be ready i expect him to see action as a freshman-- EJ is an athlete- im unconcerned about his offensive production we dont need him as QB-- and as far as not as productive on defense teams are passing on his team with ease -- well thats a sketchy report-- are opposing QBs getting rushed-- are the completions coming agaisnt EJ -- very general critique-- and oliver well ill take a reciever with 4.4 speed anytime--jenkins has stock up do we really think if he was an ND commit that would still hold mmmmmm? IrishGrizz
Funny, I thought the same thing in this reguard- all they needed to do was find the ND recruits and put all of them on the list of stock down cause they chose the racist school of ND. Heck Aaron Corp was a better QB than Jimmy.
Kenja
Yawn. Stock went down on Darrin Walls his Sr. season according to Rivals. Add in that Irish fans (or people pretending to be Irish fans) react to these things by protesting. It's exactly what's desired.
SDIrishFan
gee, i wonder if matt barkley's stock is down????????????? hmmmmmmm................ I was just going to say...Matt's put up some amazing numbers this year. Amazinginly average.
IrishGrizz
Should be interesting to watch if they do lower the sainted $c QB.

You can bet your bottom dollar a new, as yet uncommitted, player will be the #1 sometime around new years day. I just hope Jelani Jenkins holds off committing, that way he can be it. Irishman Part Deaux
Zeke MOtta's stock is up. Rivals has it pretty right on with the guys who's stock is down. they are not performing like last year or like they thought they would. A lot of the guys are injured and that will cause the stock to go down also. I don't see it as a ND thing. Either way it does not matter. When they get here, they need to perform above what expectations were or they will not see the field. Link of Motta video. A couple of pounds and a little strength, this kid will be able to play. http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=82016 Edited October 18, 2008 by Irishman Part Deaux added link
Ray Herring
Pete Carroll hasnt produced a QB since Chow left. Leinart actually went backwards in his developement and his mechanics got worse after Norm left. Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt says Matt has poor mechanics and terrible footwork. Good job Petey. I guess you don't need to work on that when you have 2 first round RBs in your back field with you.
