I'll say what i did at notredamfans.com

Thi is game is the mirorr of the 2005 season opening game in a way. This game will be regarded as being close because the irish are "searching for who they are" when in all reality, they found out and are going to rock some heads! ;)

consider this the beginning, consider it a sort of "season opener"

So, anyone else watching the PSU @ PU game? PU just got screwed by the refs. PSU just went for it on 4th n goal from the 6 inch line, and did not get it....but right before the play the refs blew the whistle to review the previous play. After the review, PSU gets another chance, and gets the TD.

Anyone here from Vegas? I am sitting in my hotel room in Ceasar's, and am trying to see if ND will be on here. I know ND is on NBC, but do I have to worry about ND not being shown here?

OK. So I am bored and am going to work on my post count.

Can someone explain how betting on football works. Since i am in Vegas, and can actually gamble legally, I was thinking aout dropping some money on ND.

I think I know how it works for horse racing where there are odds (like 10 to 1 and if I bet 1 and win, I get 10?) but how does it work in football when the teams don't get odds but points? I understand that the spread is 7.5, and that means ND needs to win by 8 in order for me to win.....but if I put 100.00 on them, what do I win?

I won't even ask about baseball where teams get -115 +115......no clue about that one.

If you put $100 on ND today and they win by 8 or more you will win $100.

I was in Vegas during the MSU game, I put money on the Irish and lost. That last TD in garbage time was a real killer for me.

Give the points Irish Guy. I don't think this game will be that close at all.

As for the -115 +115 stuff, my uncle tried to explain it to me years ago.

I think it's something like $1 dollar will get you $1.15 on the underdog and $1.15 will get you $1 dollar on the favorite.

I might be way off there though.

Also, if there's anywhere in America you will be able to find the Irish game, it's Vegas.

Would have almost the same field position even with a punt...but that interception is going to have to be in the tree's mind now. Go IRISH!
