Irishkidfromcali
Nick won the starting job as oaks christians quarterback this year for a team that still does have at least three division one football players and is at least number two in the county this year behind st. bonaventure so we may have two montanas on our roster in the future and two qbs from oaks8)
mcdougal93
Oaks Christian and St Bonnie are #1 and #2 in the country? Did not know that.
IrishGrizz
Last year the young man said he was a USC fan, not as much ND, so this is definately not anything like a sure thing that if he was good enough to get an offer from ND that he would come. rdrdreamer
Oaks Christian and St Bonnie are #1 and #2 in the country? Did not know that. We do now brother. Thanks for this bit of info. Oaks Christian has the look of our earlier powerhouses of Southern California. Mater Dei, Bishop Amot and Eisenhower. Except I feel they have a bit more finesse than the others mentioned. Eisenhower was simply physical across the lines.
mcdougal93
county not country and you can never count out a montana thanks for the clarification. I knew they were good but there are some other HS around the country that have more depth especially on the OL.
Katzenboyer
Oaks Christian and St. Bonnie's aren't even the best teams in California, let alone the country. Mater Dei, Servite, De La Salle and Long Beach Poly are all better than them.

Katzenboyer
it says COUNTY, not country OK, but regardless, when you start talking about the elite programs in the greater LA/San Diego area, Oaks Christian does not come to mind. The Grease
I am from California, went to Loyola, and even though OC has only been is existence for a short time, they have certainly declared themselves on the football scene in LA. They may not have the tradition that Mater Dei, Amat, LB Poly and Loyola have, but I guarantee that they have won more games and produced more D1 athletes than any of those teams in the past 7 years. For that reason, I think that you have to put them in the upper echelon. Granted, they play weaker competition, but that will change with time, as they move up divisions. More D-1 athletes than LB Poly? Not so sure about that one Plus you have to consider the overwhelming majority of D1 players from Oaks were all in the same class, as opposed to producing D1 talent on a year to year basis

And I can pretty much guarantee that you're wrong if you think OC has produced more D1 talent in the last seven years than LB Poly, Mater Dei, St. Bonnie's, etc. Again, OC has produced D1 players, but like heisman said, most of them were in the Clausen/Tyler class. You're information's bad, Grease.
