Fellas, word I am hearing here in buckeye country is that Watt was given a deadline to decide by tomorrow. If no decision, should be Irish.

Over on one of the buckeye boards, one of the posters claims to have an insider who says NW and PSU have snuck in on this one. I have no idea if this is even slightly true. I can't imagine with Longo now on board that they will hold an offer for him. Maybe if he was a 5-star, cant miss kind of guy. I expect him to be Irish.

I'm reading that it's really looking good for ND on Watt.

As the tea leaves began to favor the Irish the rhetoric changed from: "we'll take up to 28". "We'll take 5 OL". "Watt and Banks were guranteed a spot" to

the lastest balloon spit.

Chris Watt is in control here and he'll make the call. There is some chatter it looks good for ND (and I'm not referring to the thread on the UM premium board or the "good feeling" on Irish Illustrated) which has sent the Buckeye nation into spin mode. They'll claim "the ship sailed". Don't buy it.

Nice post Kenja, and welcome to DD.

It is interesting to watch the boards of team involved in recruits when the scale starts to tip one way or the other. Watt has always seemed in control of this process, which is refreshing to see, frustrating but refreshing.

I am going to wait and see on this one, hopefully it ends soon...

Kenja, welcome to the DD.

someone on GH said that the rivals main board has posters saying that Watt may have given his verbal to the staff

Just read that on Rivals Main. Many buckeye posters are conceding to the Irish. Unless they are screwing with us. Looks like Watt is Irish!!!!!!

What a couple good days!!

Welcome Kenja

would be nice news if he does...And welcome Kenya to DD man.

this would be awsome, ND seems to be hitting their stride when it comes to recruiting big time players on the OL. keep 'em coming.

This would be a great get for the Irish.

WATT !!! OK !!! YEAAAH !!!

Sorry, I know its cheesey...but couldn't resist...major coup for the staff if Watt makes it official !

If Chris does indeed wind up at ND, I hope Eric Shrive is still paying attention to the recruiting process.

With Watt and Bullard at ND, hopefully Shrive will reconsider the rashness of his Penn State committment...

No, Watt does NOT have control anymore when it comes to OSU. I'll leave it at that.

One can only hope, one can only hope.

Was Shrive being recruited for left tackle? I can't remember if he was.

Shrive was being recruited to play RT. He may have developed into a LT but he's not one yet.
