ESPN's Bowl Projection for ND seems right in line with what I have been saying all along. What do you all think? I hate that they have Ohio State in the National Title. Another year, another weak schedule, another blow out in the title game. Don't people learn their lesson?

 

I didnt see Michigan anywhere, but I didn't look that hard, either.

Chances are OSU is auctally going to have to earn their way in to the NC game this year. If they beat USC this year they are going to have the inside track for getting in.

 

As for ND in the gator bowl, id take that in a heartbeat for this year.

Going to the Gator bowl would be awesome. Virginia was 9-3 and Texas Tech was 8-4 so I guess the same is expected of us and that would make me a happy man. I would be happy to go to any bowl considering how awful we were last year. JUST PLEASE WIN!!!!!

 

As far as the BCS games I have it:

 

National Championship- Georgia vs. USC (GO DAWGS)

Fiesta- BYU vs. Missouri

Sugar- Auburn vs. West Virginia

Orange-Clemson vs. Oklahoma

Rose-Ohio State vs. Arizona State (ASU is not great but I think they get 9 or 10 wins and with USC in the NC game they get in by default to keep Rose Bowl tradition)

BYU is a bold choice...

21, sorry But the dogs won't make it this year as they will lose to the gators, looks like its going to be Ohio State and possible the USC if the Irish can up set them then i see Georgia getting the nod .

I would take a 1 loss UGA team over a 1 loss tOSU team, even if OSU's loss is to USC. Even if UGA loses to Florida they would still have beaten LSU (Even without a proven QB will be solid), 'Bama, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Arizona State. Then have to beat LSU, Bama, or Auburn again.

21, here is a thought , about USC if Ohio states beats them and we just might also do it that will take USC out of the picture all together, if so that means that the SEC will have GA and maybe BAMA in the final . what say you ps. don't count out the Irish were going to be good >

I just don't see the trojans in the NC game.

It's true that if they can beat OSU, there ride is pretty easy because of a sh*#ty schedule.

They get ASU at the Coliseum, and there aren't many other challenges beyond that.

But they have way too many question marks.

New QB, a new O line, huge losses on the D line, there best LB gone, All American TE gone, no #1 receiver or #1 RB.

 

Tons of talent, but if potential won games, ND would have won at least 6 games last year.

As long as we get to a bowl and win it, its fine with me...

Stafon Johnson averaged 6.9 yards a carry last year, and that was despite battling injuries all year long.

I say Who Cares about FUSC or tOSU. I can only hope they both lose against each other.

The Gator Bowl president was asked about ND last year. He said he would take a 6-6 ND team over most others just because of ratings. Gator usually gets first ones out of the BCS games. If the irish get into the Gator bowl, I will be very happy.

This is an old argument. If DD wants to ban other team's fans then let's get on with it. If not then let's move on with it. As for SC, when they figure out how to get up for the Stanfords and Oregon States of the world then you will see another NC from them. EOT
