This coming weekend looks like a huge weekend. Many of our commits will be here along with a ton of recruits, some with offers and some without. Here is a list that I was able to put together as to who is coming. Let me know if I am missing anyone. This is one of the biggest weekends of visitors that I have seen in one weekend during an offseason, exluding BG games.

most likely to commit is Lalota I think. EJ Banks would be my next guess. Then if Mike Jones' offer is legit I'd say him. Chris Watt could also commit, but I see him deciding a week or so after our visit.

No relation. Christian is from PA, and Kuntz is from IN from what I remember.

 

Christian is a big WR recruit being listed at 6'4" 195. I believe thats what he'd be brought in as, though some think he could be a TE down the road (similar to how the Irish are treating Eifert).

Impressive list of visitors. Would love to see four commits out of this group this weekend. Banks, LaLota, Jones, and Watt.

I agree with Ziggy that we'll land LaLota this weekend. I see Banks choosing us in the end although that may not be this weekend. I see Watt going to O$U and Mike Jones getting his official offer when he visits and committing.

Looking at our offers, its pretty apparent that we are going after O-linemen hard. 3 out of the top 7 OTs and 3 outta the top 10 OGs.

 

So what are the chances that we land Nixon, Lalota, and/or Watt? How come #4 OG Pete White doesn't even have an offer? I would imagine it means that ND thinks they sit pretty well with Watt. Who knows tho. All I know is that we have to land a standout OT in this class, and I'd be fine with either Nixon or Lalota.

Ahhhh, I was there and we went out of South Bend for a day trip that day. My bad. We did drop by that night and I saw a couple long golf carts at the Gug, so that must have been the "tour". Sounds like the visit impressed a few folks!

If we didn't get one signing out of that group it is a bad sign of what may be to come...

 

It also sounds like Lalota is all but out of our grasp if he wants to play DE...Because he just wouldn't fit in our system (3-4) and he would be wasting his pass rush skills if he kicks inside with us...

I disagree. I don't think he would've come if he wasn't interested. In our 3-4, we stand up the fourth on many occasions and he becomes a LB ala John Ryan/Kerry Neal. I think he's Irish all the way here.
