Has anyone seen the espn.com poll tonight...it asks which college coach is more likely to jump to the pro's within the next five years, the results as I have them right now are

Poodle 38% in the popular vote and sweeping the electoral college

Ferentz 19%

Stoops 24%

Weis 19%

What kind of uninformed 19% is this, How many times does Charlie have to say hes staying before these idiots will drop the conspiracy? Seriously, this guy bleeds blue and gold, and when you add in his family and there situation, theres no chance he goes pro, not now, not in five years, not for a long long time if ever in my opinon. On another note, I hope the poodle runs and hides in the NFL, because it will only be more proof of how Weis owns him, and will forever own him. Poodle and Bush to the texans, then they can spend the rest of there careers taking a beating from my Colts!

I'll second that one,.. he's not going anywhere. The Colts are awesome! I'm from Indiana, and I live like 1 hour from Indy and 2 from South Bend, straight shots both ways. I think that God was looking out for me when he placed me in Kokomo. About Reggie Bush, I have a little respect for him. He is an awesome football player, and he said that the Irish were definately more deserving of a bowl bid than the Ducks.

Actually I don't think Carrol will do NFL. He bombed badly with two Pro teams. Might be someone willing to give him a third shot though?

I want him to stay so Weis can own him for the next 10 years. I really think that Carrol is the product of the most talent and Norm Chow. I think the real Pete will be exposed the next few years no matter where he winds up.

well said Tobey..I have thought that the whole season..and hoping to high Heaven that USC is still undefeated when we go there next year. GO IRISH

I agree. He'll never win another Super Bowl.

What made you revive this?

My head hurts--:ohwell:--

aloha

Seriously? Almost 9 year old revive? That's got to be a record, right?

LOL.

I didn't get it for the first 5 seconds.

I thought to myself, "What the hell? This reads like a poll from 2007."

I was off by two years.

But what in the name of Buddha made you dig for this one? I can't even think of the search parameters using more current terms that would revive this.

I was told today that Harbaugh is leaving Stanford for the NFL,,,,,, Absurd!!! :bolt:

guys, it looks like Manti Teo is leaning toward the Trojans, too bad we missed out on that one. He has bust written all over him though.

I heard Chip Kelly is going to the NFL soon.....wait, was Chip Kelly around when this thread started?

The year this thread started...

Pope John Paul II died.

George W Bush was POTUS.

There were only 6.4 billion people in the world.

Hurricane Katrina happened.

I was 16.

Star Wars III beat out Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter Goblet of Fire, War of the Worlds, and King Kong as the year's top grossing movie.

Alex Smith was the first pick in the NFL draft.

Andrew Bogut was the first pick of the NBA draft.

Brady Quinn finished 4th in the Heisman trophy voting. Winner: Reggie Bush*

There's ONLY 2 words you need to say to take me directly back to this year,,,

BUSH PUSH :machinegun:

What made you revive this?

I honestly hit a wrong button on my phone and it took me back. Then I started reading and laughing. I'm sure many of us remember Sir John and his anger that he couldn't smoke inside.

The torch of oldest thread revive being handed from me to Kamara! :)
