May 2, 200817 yr A twisted development. It seems as though Ryan is holding some recruiting violations over LSU's head for spite. There might be a leak of recruiting violations in the near future. I wrote a post earlier in the year talking about all the gifts he allegedly received from LSU, and when he decided to go to Texas for the bigger house, LSU blackmailed him to come back to the bayou. Karma's a bi*ch eh LSU? Stay tuned for more jambalaya.
May 2, 200817 yr About time LSU did this, its not easy to kick your starting QB(and best shot at making it back to the NC) but they did it. You can argue he should have been kicked off before this, but we all know certain programs around the country would have found a way to keep their starting QB on board.
May 2, 200817 yr i think that there might be a small window , that he can come back if he can get cleaned up and an apology to the team , ? maybe . but i do agree he needed to go , but this is Cajun country and dem tigers will do anything to get dem players ready .
May 2, 200817 yr Im pretty sure that was the last straw rick, he had enough chances already to get his shit together and he just keeps throwing away his chances.
May 3, 200817 yr Don't feel too sorry for him. He'll still make millions in the NFL. The NFL doesn't care about character or right and wrong. Ricky Williams is back, Pacman Jones will be back, Vick will be back, and Periloux will be accepted to the frat. Simply too much athletic ability for them to pass it up. Wouldn't it be nice if the NFL actually stood up for what is right and honorable instead of constantly rewarding morons like this kid? I must be a dreamer today! Money is the only thing that matters in the NFL.

Well, not to start an argument or anything, but Ricky Williams clearly knows the rules and has repetitively decided that they don't apply to him. The crime is a lessor offense, but how many strikes does he get before he's out? Mind you, agree with it or not, smoking weed is not only a direct violation of NFL and team rules, it is also against the law. Ricky doesn't care about the NFL, the law, or the team...just what's best for Ricky. I don't think that should be rewarded personally.
May 3, 200817 yr OK , I wasn't aware of these additional charges aganist him , as for the NFL bad boys , your right, but the word is mess up and your gone or a heavy fine , the new commissioner is getting tough , and really its to bad that some of these dudes can't obey the law.

May 3, 200817 yr At least the Tigers did the right thing by laying down the law with RP...if he was a Buckeye or Trojan no way he gets kicked off the team
May 3, 200817 yr At least the Tigers did the right thing by laying down the law with RP...if he was a Buckeye or Trojan no way he gets kicked off the team that's how you build "street cred" if you're a Trojan. Thugs.
May 3, 200817 yr At least the Tigers did the right thing by laying down the law with RP...if he was a Buckeye or Trojan no way he gets kicked off the team Josh Tatum, a former 5 star LB out of HS, was kicked off the team at SC for poor behavior and bad work ethic Eric Wright, an NFL level CB who went on to be a 2nd round draft pick, was kicked off the team at SC for legal issues even though no charges were ever filed But don't let things like facts get in your way
May 3, 200817 yr Keeping it back on the thread. Counterfiting can be anything, If money then the Secret Service comes in. I think it's more like fake student ID's and age things for drinking etc???
May 3, 200817 yr SJ, you maybe right. A student ID may not be a big deal but this kid has been in trouble repeatedly and I think it was the straw that broke the came's back.

Not sure I saw this coming, but here you go!
