IMO after seeing that. I think he's staying home at Tx A&M

After that I think he is coming! And have to admit, after that interview and since their is somewhat limited tape, I want him. He seems like a spectacular kid, bright, affable and poised, think he would make a great addition and I think if the trip goes well, he is coming...

saying he's basically coming b/c we were the first team to start recruiting him. granted i hope he comes, but doesnt sound like he's leaving Texas A&M.

The good thing about this time of year is we won't have to wait too long to find out.

I honestly think the interview helped more than hurt. He seems to be loyal to the one's who stuck with him from the beginning. He even cut home town Texas from his list who gave him a late offer, because he was not familiar with the coaching staff there.

Really like this kid, well spoken, and good looking DE. After watching the video, not sure if he will end up Irish, but if CB can get in his ear, I think the long-term relationship built throughout the recruiting can't hurt. Still be tough to get him out of TX and from all of his friends. CW show him your rings and tell him to ask Sherman to show him his

Nothing definitive from that video at all. But IMO it was definitely in the favor of ND. He spoke more about ND than the other A&M and the fact that he said he does not know is more in favor of ND than the school that he already committed to.

Β

I think the kid spoke extremely well. Looks like it would be a nice get for ND and I'm gonna predict ND. No facts on that call.

KLM will end up at A&M; he is actively recruiting other soft or uncommitted DFW recruits to A&M.

He doesnt like the idea of a 3-4 and that is the heart of the matter. Funny enough A&M will be going to a 3-4 in a few years.

doesnt like the idea of a 3-4? that's what his HS plays and what he's been thriving in the last 4 years.

he continues to say he's waiting til NSD. you actually think if he waits that long he's going to pick ND? highly doubtful. I think if he doesnt commit this weekend or within the next week then he's all Aggies.

He seemed to have some positive things to say about ND.

I know A&M has the upperhand, but it sure would be nice.

If he were completely solid on A&M, then why on EARTH would he make good on a visit in this kind of weather? The temperatures have been horrendous, and its been miserable for even those that are used to it.

Β

And not to be completely sniveling abut it, but it wouldn't be unprecedented for a kid to recruit for one school, then have a change of heart at the last minute.

Β

Not doubting the A&M lean for a minute, but given the 5 other DE recruits in A&M's class (no joke, check it out), and the fact that he's visiting in far less that optimal conditions, tells me he hasn't crossed us off the list yet, so he's at least listening.

Β

FYI, if the parents aren't along for this visit, I highly doubt we get this kid (think back to the Grant Irons story, if you've ever heard it).

BG is reporting that they hear his visit is going very, very well. But they are not allowed to speak to him while on campus.

Thanks Rockne for the update; to the point as always.

This is more of a general statement, but its to the point where I don't even bother with my feelings on a guy most of the time; if the staff really liked him, and saw fit to offer him as early as they did, I'm on board with their opinions. In light of the Pat Kuntz developments and a few other mumblings that I've heard, the more D-Lineman the merrier.

Care to enlighten us with the mumblings?...
