no offer yet, looks like he may be offered if we swing and miss on most of our final recruits

If he's offered, I would think he'd jump at the chance to come play with Crist and McDonald.

Not sure of his chances of seeing the field though.

If PT is a priority, he would be better served staying with the WAC.

after wathcin his film on rivals at RB, he doesnt look that bad with good moves and nice speed

If PT is a priority, he would be better served staying with the WAC.

How do we know this? Has anyone ever seen him play or know of his work ethic? Or is that a mere comment regarding how many stars he has...

I don't see Coach Weis bringing a player who he doesn't think has a shot at competing for a starting job within a year or two. He's not gonna waste scholarships. Maurice Crum, Ian Williams, Joe Brockington, Terrail Lambert, Pat Kuntz, and David Bruton were all 3 stars guys who have had a lot of success on the field.

Remember, some of those WAC teams fielded better teams and had more depth last year than we did.

I agree, if coach Weis is bringing in a player, he most likely can play...no matter how much attention or how many stars he's received. He has good numbers, and we know that more than one of our staff has seen him play since both offense and defensive coaches have been to watch Dayne and McDonald play. Could end up they same way we were blessed getting Brady Quinn!

What's your definition of success?

I'd like to know too.... Jeff Smardjafdhfajlsd is a better example of a lower rated recruit who played like a 5*

Add my boy Joey Getherall to that list, almost went unrecruited by ND, would've if Meyer had his way.

Ziggy...this is who I was referring to. Nice work.

don't let the stars fool you. watching the video on this guy, he's got some good speed and pretty good footwork. he looks kinda like Darius Walker in the way he runs. then again, i don't know where they'd put him, considering there's so many running backs in the stable. still, there's often alot of guys like this who fall through the cracks and turn out to be studs. John Carlson was a 3 star. so was Ndukwe and Samarzidja. there's a long list of guys like that. i trust in charlie 8)

im not a big fan of offering Thaddeus Brown a scholorship, i'd rather hold onto this scholorship for next year.

he's also a CB.

Let me revise my statement then.

If IMMEDIATE PT is a priority, he MAY be better served staying with the WAC. We are deep in the secondary, and unless he truly is a diamond in the rough, he probably won't play for a few years.

A smaller conference obviously gives him a better chance to play sooner.

I know nothing about his work ethic and my comments were purely speculation.

He's probably the best corner on his team and ND Sherman Oaks is a major school out here in the Southland. Being a much better than average athlete myself, I can only speak to what I would do, and I would probably pick Boise St. They are a major power these days, and his interest is high. And like you said, they fielded better teams than us the last few years.
