Who might he be talking about? ;)

Β

"Pryor β€” a 6-foot-6, 230-pounder from Jeannette (Pa.) High School β€” still has not announced a college choice. He said he is considering Florida, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State and Oregon. National Signing Day is Feb. 6.

Β

'I have more thinking to do,' Pryor said. 'I'm looking for a spread offense, and I don't know who's telling the truth or not. It'll be a tough decision.'"

imo it seems like he's talking about schools such as Penn St (and to a lesser extent, Ohio St) who run traditional pro-set offenses but are telling him they'll run the spread for him. Obviously Urban Meyer's area of expertise is the spread so its not like he has to lie about what type of offense they run

i hope he goes to oregon

same because then i can actually root for him. He is gonna have to change his style though from me me me me to team

Unfortunately, I have a very bad feeling that Pryor is all Michigan when the curtain comes down.

he can look at PSU with Michael Robinson and tOSU with Troy Smith. They run spread packages for them.

Why did he have an OSU sticker on the back of his helmet that he kept pointing to? He walked in with a Michigan shirt on. Somebody is getting played here, either Michigan or OSU. I love it because I bet both schools think he's a lock.

it's all part of the game nowadays deutchman..........

There is some part of me that actually doesn't want him to go to OSU. Their recruiting class is really incredible this year. They could have the making of a dominant team in a couple of years.

You mean going to the National Title two straight years isn't dominant?

I suppose when you get waxed in said title game, it takes away from the "dominance" factor

Agreed.

The impression I got was that Pryor was a lean to OSU (Hanging out with OSU recruits, the helmet sticker thing, combo of bball and fball). That being said, he did not look good throwing the ball, but great running the ball, i.e. Pat White-esque. Dick Rod's spread-option leans more towards the run where as OSU's spread leans more towards the pass. Not saying he couldn't be successful at OSU, but Michigan plays more towards his strength.

But, I'm still not that worried about it b/c Meatchicken will have to make a ton of changes, in particular to their Oline, to execute the spread option. That and Vince Young wasn't great until his third year.

Β

Yeah, just like we went to two straight BCS games. We were dominant right?

That second sentence was sarcastic btw.
