The Pryor lovefest prevented Floyd from getting the MVP IMO. Anybody disagree? Im not saying he didn't have a big game, but I think Floyd was better. 4 catches for 118 & 2 TD's is very impressive for an AA game.

I was just about to say that. Def. agree.

Pryor showed that the lovefest is well deserved. The kid is a stud and without a doubt #1 player in the country.

Most of the time they will pick a player from the winning team. It would have been great to see Floyd win it but TP had a great game and the East won.

Floyd will definitely move up in the rankings.

He is def. a great player but they should have given to the guy who played the best game.

floyds team lost, pryors won, if the west had won the award would have flipped

it almost always (dont feel like looking back to see previous MVPs) goes to the team that wins (in any sport).

I always through we slightly overrated Floyd because he was on our radar so long. Well, i was damn wrong. It's rare to see a pre-college wide receiver with his field awareness and ball skills. This is going to sound out of left field, but let me finish. This aspect reminded me of Jerry Rice and marvin harrison. I remeber watching highlight reels of them, their catches were no where near as spectacular as other wide receivers i seen. Why? Because they are always running the correct route and are always in position. They have an uncanny ability to judge the direction and speed of the ball while it is in the air and adjust without having to lose momentum. Floyd did the same thing in this game. impressive.

I hate to be the one saying this, but Pryor is the real deal. He deserved that MVP outright. Floyd had a really great game as well but was not the most valuable player. I really hope TP goes to tOSU and not Meatchicken!

Agree, very impressed with Floyd...look forward to seeing him on the field next year and with JC's accuracy should be awesome

Pryor was the mvp for sure. Did you guys watch the game?

That said.... Floyd for MVP!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D Great game i love it

I was actually a little disappointed in Pryor. He would make a huge mistake going to OSU because the guy is not even an average pocket passer. The guys is big and fast, but so was pretty much every WR at the game.

There was one play where Pryor was running along the sidelines and McDonald came up to hit him. Pryor shrugged him off and went out of bounds a step or two later, but I was pretty surprised by that. McDonald is 6'4" 230 and looked like a defensive back hitting Pryor. TP looked much bigger than I thought and has very good physical skills. Wherever he winds up he will make that team a serious threat for 4 years.

On the college level, he will also be able to create plays with his feet when plays break down even if he is not that accurate initially. He can improve there, but there have been countlesss college QBs in his mold with even worse accuracy who were very successful.

i would prefer that he goes to michigan, because i am from ohio, and would have to hear my friends talk about him nonstop for the next 4 years..

Β

also, because if i do not get accepted to ND, i will most likely go to michigan, and although i will always be an ND fan, it will still be fun to watch him at every home game for michigan
