Hmm, I don't know, but I really like Knox, he'd be a great addition at RB.

the great things about getting knox would be

a) he's a great RB and compliments Jonas very well

b) his teammate WR - Devonte Flournoy is probably the best WR in the west coast and he has interest in us and we've offered.

We're waiting on his test scores

are we also waiting on cyrus or has that ship sailed?

Yeah we're waiting on Cyrus still. We're in his final five with Florida, Louisville, Cal, and Kansas. I think we'd rather have him than Knox, but it seems like ND would take either because it appears we really want 2 RB's in this class. Florida is getting a visit from Gray later this month, as is Cal. He's already visited Kansas and Louisville. IMO, he would commit to ND but he's intimidated by our stable of Rivals 100 RB's. If someone beats him to the punch at Florida, I see us having a decent chance. PT seems pretty important to him...

He's hard to get a good read on!! I wish he would have been at the Army game so he could spend some quality time with ND's recruits like GRob. :)

florida has a pretty nice group of running backs themselves including percy harvin and the arrival of emmanuel moody from USC.....

Knox looked really good in the game against Dayne and McDonald. That all ive seen of him this year and I was impressed.

I agree. I was watching that game and wondered why we hadn't offered this kid. He had a great game and was running all over them. As of now i believe the hold up is grades.

Cyrus Gray looked very impressive yesterday in the East-West game at the Orange Bowl....very quick and fast, he seems to have a knack for finding the best gap to run through every time.

Knox recently said he was most likely going to take an official to ND on Feb. 1st, and doesn't anticipate an offer until he visits. He's narrowed it down to UCLA, ND, and UF.

Cyrus has apparently given his verbal to Texas A and M. The Scout A and M affiliate caught wind of this and reported it, but Cyrus wanted some time to inform all of the coaches recruiting him that he had made his decision. Cyrus will probably announce this decision soon. I'm just glad that someone has given some kind of update on the Milton Knox situation. I really hope we can offer him.

you can take an official to a college even without an offer?

i never knew that. i really hope this kid gets an offer.

If he actually makes the visit, that's probably a good sign that he will get an offer. I doubt the University would foot the bill for someone who isn't eligible for a scholarship.

From what I hear, still waiting on ACT score (has to be at least 18) to get the offer. Visit scheduled for 2/2. I think he's ND if he gets that 18

Elite RBs who go to Florida havent done a bit of homework. They will never ever be the feature in a UM gimmick offense.

My grandma has a better chance of being drafted high in the NFL than a UF RB.
