Rumors are starting to swirl that Texas A&M commit Lewis-Moore is thinking about decommitting and choosing ND. It's being reported on one of the premium pay sites. I don't want to get anybody in trouble by posting "premium content" from another site, so if anybody wants further info, just PM or e-mail me....

Sounds good to me. We need some rumbleing start to happen around DD.

yea but i don't want commitments just because we're bored.

I've never been too high on KLM. He seems solid but not an explosive big difference maker. I certainly don't think he's in Fleming's class. I'd hold out for Nick Perry or maybe Datone Jones or be finished on D this year.

Just because we have depth issues, doesn't mean we want 5 guys in the same class just to have them.

We need athletic bodies. He isn't bad and we have plenty of room. I'll take him.

KLM says he's about to get more film up on rivals and that he looks like a whole knew player.

It also says he projects at DE. With Ethan Johnson and Sean Cwynar already in the fold, and feelers out to Perry and Jones, i'd pass on him in my opinion. It does seem like the coaching staff has seen more on him that they really like.

We've already offered several big prospects in the next class too. I'm just saying, at some point you gotta consider balance unless you think all four of KLM, Johnson, Cwynar, and Hafis will have early impact or if you honestly think KLM would unseat Neal or Smith at OLB (i don't think he would, or Fleming for that matter).

Are you guys in the running for Nick Perry? The guy had 36 sacks this year!

He doesn't have an offer yet, but Haywood visited this week with him so an offer may be coming his way. From what I've read he is interested in ND and we are in him, only two months to figure it all out, so if we want him, we need to get moving.

I thought i read somewhere that we indeed did offer last week, not 100% sure tho.

I just read it on Irish Ill.'s front page.

And of course, you all know exactly where I headed first. :D

I think the analysis above it is not flexible enough. Just because he is projected as a DE does not mean he or any other guys cannot switch over the OL. God knows we need a little moredepth there. Again, I say we take him.

I don't know what you guys are looking at, but he looks like a good prospect to me. I say take him, first come first serve.

Wow some of you guys sure are being picky after a 3-9 season.

If Corwin Brown likes him, he is good enough for me.

Good point. Is he versitile enough in the coaches eyes to either play with his hand off the ground or at DE? Are there guys that could flip over to offense that we aren't thinking about (heck, Paddy Mullen could move to TE for all we know - not likely just sayin')? We just don't know.

I personally think that Nick Perry is just the kind of guy we're looking to pair with Fleming, but thats just me. I'm not sure that I have a clear cut opinion on taking KLM, but thats kind of where I stand.

chris i agree with you on KLM. i've watched his film and im not all that impressed with him either and i also think that if your going to bring in one more DE i'd rather it be datone jones.

The same thing was said about Brian Smith last year, yet he turned out to be the best freshman we had on the defensive side of the ball. (Yes, better than the beloved Kerry Neal)

You can't judge a player by a couple of videos from high school. We won 3 games last season. We need anyone and everyone we can get.

At 6-4 225, he could play a myriad of positions.

This isn't directed at you Canadian but I'm not a big fan of the quote. We are sitting in the #1 spot in recruiting so we should be picky regardless of our record this year. In fact, ND should be picky every year.
